When people are using infrared video equipment and are capturing the bases of mountains 1,200 miles away when the peak of it should have been hidden under 120 miles of globe curve, it's not unreasonable to assume there is no curve.
This literally didn't happen. The video in question wasn't "1,200" miles away. And since you put in the comma, I'm going to assume that wasn't a typo. The video was for 120 miles.
However analysis shows that he didn't capture anything that wouldn't be visible on a spherical earth.
