My own experience is that marijuana is addictive. It can cause panic attacks but not always. The worst part is that its addictive.

Dude. Anything can become addictive; work, sex, food, tylenol pm....on and on and on.

God made the plant. Right? Didn't He say that all was good? Didn't He give all seed bearing plants for Adams consumption? Didn't Paul say that it isn't what goes into a man that defiles him, but it is what comes out of him?

It sounds to me like you are having an abnormal reaction to this plant, just as many react to milk, or sulpha....etc, etc. If it is causing panic attacks, maybe you smoked too much? Try backing off. Everyone thinks you have to inject insane amounts! This isn't about getting wasted, it's about being smart. If you drank so much alcohol that you vomited every time, that's what you need to know to cut back on the booze! I have a similar reaction to alcohol....I cannot drink a drop of it because I love it far too much. But not all people are like this. I have a body that absolutely craves alcohol, which is abnormal. Therefore, I don't drink alcohol, but here's the difference between you and me....unlike yourself, I am not slamming EVERYONE that actually finds a benefit in alcohol.

You need to be just as respectful. Do you understand? You are in no position to judge God's creation....honestly, I'd back off and not place His creation into the pit of your personal condemnation. I used to condemn everyone that drank alcohol or consumed cannabis....so glad I don't show my ignorance like this any longer.

God's Cannabis plant saved my life. For decades it has kept me out of lies and into the truth, which is that I am not the bad person that my family has wanted me to believe. A part of me did believe their lies, because starting as early as 12 years old, that's when I first wantedt to die because I saw my family as one without love or kindness. My divorced parents paid the piano player at my church to take me. The piano player was gay and was actually masterbating as he thought about me laying in bed, not far from his own bedroom.

Believe me, my story is almost unimaginalbe in it's full documentary, but the key is that Cannabis showed me all of my fears (what you call paranoia) and actually gave me a chance to figure out what was wrong with me. The "paranoia" was nothing less that the truth staring me in the face, which is that I had many, many problems that I needed to overcome, the first of which was Fear.

I realize that you think that I am wrong and won't bother you with more discussion after this. If my story does not compell you, then you're just unwilling to listen to anybody other than yourself or your doctor. I recommend that you show not just wisdom, but understanding....the same kind of undestanding that Job developed when he realized how terribly wrong he was regarding his incorrect assumptions of his God whom he, Job, had yet to meet. Job was a douchebag and he knew it after God put him so desperately in his lowly human place.

Wisdom is often stupidity if we do not possess understanding so as to correct our "wisdom". At my age, I've had to backtrack on just about all of my beliefs....what a problem!

I believe in you, but you would defintely benefit from listening to others and considerig what they say. You don't want to be remembered as one that is dogmatic (deaf, blind and dumb.)

Peace to you

I know and understand that people are in need of marijuana for a number of reasons, but have you ever smoked it,not to get high,or anything like that, but smoked it because of something that you needed it for and did it help you and make you feel better?

I used to smoke it heavily for recreational purposes but there was one time I was very sick for 2 days with a stomach flu. I was throwing up several times a day and stayed on the couch for 2 days. My brother and a friend on mine came home from school and we’re going to smoke some pot. They asked me if I wanted any and I said no it will make me throw up. They began smoking and the smell started to appeal to me so I took two drags and within less than a minute I didn’t feel sick at all anymore. I was actually pretty amazed by this. Now I’m not saying marijuana is a miracle cure or trying to encourage anyone to use it. On the contrary having used marijuana for most of my life about 24 years I highly recommend everyone should stay away from it. In my experience the most dangerous thing about marijuana is it’s effect of rendering a person content in almost any situation. It takes away a person’s drive to accomplish something better in life being content with the bare minimum requirements for living. Sure people who smoke marijuana want more out of life but in most cases they will not do anything about it. For me when I became a believer and turned my life towards serving God the first thing I knew was I had to do was stop smoking marijuana. I did and as a result I’ve had more blessing that I can even begin to count. As for using marijuana for serious medical conditions smoking marijuana is not nearly as effective as ingesting it because it is the oil that has the most benefits for increased appetite and fighting off certain types of cancer. This can be very beneficial for patients receiving chemo and radiation treatments which often cause the patient to have a severe loss of appetite. This helped my father who was fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer with his lack of appetite. Of course it did not cure him and he did pass away but it did help with his quality of life while undergoing chemo therapy.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father.

I have been an herbalist for 30 years. I have studied and used herbs of all sorts.
Cannabis is certainly the king of all herbs, but smoking it is a bad way to consume it.
Herbs are aromatic plants given to us by our Father for our meat and medicine.
The term "medicine" is a terrible misnomer in the west, because we think of drugs which only give symptom relief which completely bypasses the CAUSE of our symptoms.
Symptoms are a warning sign that something is wrong in our bodies. So covering up a symptom is a bad idea because the CAUSE will continue to affect us.
Herbs are not drugs. They are plants that supply us with micronutrients that allow our bodies to self heal.
That's the way God designed us.
A few years ago, scientists have discovered the endocannabanoid system in all vertebrates, including humans. It is similar to the nervous system, though more discreet. And cannabanoids, of which there are dozens, are the nutrients that feed that system, along with the natural bodily chemical, Anandemide.
Cannabis should be considered an essential nutrient for mental and physical health.
But the problem is that most people think you need to smoke it, and lots of it.But like any strong aromatic herb, it should only be used in very small amounts.

The thing is that incinerating and inhaling anything causes you to ingest many chemical by products which are not healthy. Herbs are best ingested as food (spice).
The other thing is that smoking the herb gives one a large quantity of the oils, and can result in an potentially uncomfortable experience.
Think of hot peppers. A little crushed red pepper on your dinner can be divine, but eating a raw Habanero will give you a completely different experience.
You have to respect it.
Just because something is natural doesn't mean one should consume copious amounts of it. Think of it like any strong aromatic herb.

Cannabis is a king of the herbs, but should be consumed like any other potent herb...in moderation, and for heavens sake....don't smoke it.

Bless.

Smoking anything can be harmful since it's smoke going into your lungs. I'm an occasional marijuana user myself(usually to help my insomnia), but I rarely smoke it.

Cannabis saved my life. My life isn't worthless. I'd really be cautious about your evil judgments against God's Almighty Creations.
What evil judgments? I never said it was worthless but it will become a daily habit and will take all your money.

I highly recommend that anyone opposed to the legalization of medical marijuana read up on the effects theobromine (the active drug in chocolate) has on people here.

MM is comparatively safe compared to caffeine and "chocolate," both physically and mentally. What the heck else does one need to say before the state stops persecuting innocent people?

Never mind the fact people have the right to ingest whatever they want, it's simply frustrating to see the willful ignorance which only destroys families. The War on Drugs has destroyed more than marijuana could ever accomplish.
