@Sm412 I just want to be clear. I don't hate you. I don't hold any malice or contempt towards you or the LGBTQ community. The opposite is actually true. I love you and all the Christians here. I even love the LGBTQ. Some of the nicest people I ever met are homosexual. But I also love God. And I love God with a holy fear. I want to love what He loves and I want to hate what He hates because in the end that is all that matters. Scripture is clear that God hates sin. So I hate sin too. I hate homosexuality because it is sin. I do not hate homosexuals. So I just want to emphasize that for myself and many other Christian, we are not telling these seemingly "terrible" things out of condemnation and malice. We are saying these things out of love. We love you, liberal Christians, and even the LGTBQ community more than you think. We care more about your eternity more than your present feelings. I think you may need to ask yourself, What do you care about more, the opinions of humanity or the opinion of God? Honestly, I really couldn't care less about you or anyone else's feelings getting hurt or being offended if I am speaking the truth to them in love. Yes, I truly believe that yourself and any Christian who defends and makes excuses for any wickedness to include homosexuality is deceived. 2 Peter 2 is clear and I am not being hateful or judgemental. 2 Peter 2:21 specifically says that it will have been better if you have never known the word of God than have known it and turn your back on it! These are words of love, not hate.
Remember, before God is loving, merciful, and kind, He is holy, righteous, and just. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that God loved every soul He ever thrown into Hell more than we can possibly imagine. "Savior" is a title that describes something Jesus did, He saved. "Lord" is a title that describes who He is. He is Lord of all creation. I implore you to remember that. Do you have the "Fear of the Lord" (Proverbs 1:7)? Do you fear God more than the feelings of others?
When Moses was on top of Mount Sinai, the Israelites built a golden calf and worshiped it. Do you recall what they called this calf? They did not call it Ba'al. They did not call it Molech? They said, "This is the Lord God who brought us out of Egypt!" (Exodus 32:4). Their sin was not worshiping a false god. Their sin was reducing God into a man made image that they preferred. If we call ourselves "Christian" and refuse to submit to His Lordship with the holy fear He deserves, we are worshiping a "Golden Calf" god of our own design. Not God for who He really is. "The Lord of Lords and King of Kings". So again I ask, who is Lord in your life, God or the world? You can serve only one master.
