They are the victims of employment discrimination (in many states it is still legal to fire someone for being gay,) bigotry driven violence (trans women are at risk of being MURDERED just for being trans,) and being treated by people like you as if they are disgusting, bad, sinful, and dirty just because of the way they were born. I could go on, but I think that is plenty.

I knew a young Christian man a few years ago who took his own life because of how vicious and cruel his evangelical Christian family and fellow church members treated him after he came out.

Because they are accredited by the government and sexual orientation is a protected status. CF doesn’t ban people who admit to having gay sex.

The accusation was that people were trying to indoctrinate kids into BECOMING gay or trans, not into ACCEPTING queer or trans people. And I’ll let my trans friends who can’t afford surgery know they just need to get sentenced to prison in Canada. LOL.

I've always taught my children to treat homosexuals and transgenders with respect and dignity. Not one of my seven children has ever given any indication that they are gay or transgender. And for the record, it wouldn't matter to me or to my husband if one of them is either gay or transgender.

Everything you teach a toddler is “programming.” We “program toddlers to share, and to say “please” and “thank you.” The biggest “programmer” of children is probably religion.

Not in our world it isn't.
Unless you acknowledge that what is presently pushed is just as much a religion.
But it shouldn't have to be that way.
Children, no, all people should (ideally) be taught truth or at least truthfully.
But it's always a tiny minority in power that ultimately decides what is truth.
Religion has earned it's terrible rep in the past...
And still does, although it's not (just) Christianity (i mean the institute, not necessarily the actual thing) anymore.
Truth and facts, honesty, and do it honestly, so that people can make up their minds themselves if they want to, without preprogrammed biasses, like it has always been.
And frankly, nowadays it's worse than ever.
Media everywhere, suggesting what to think.
We even carry it with us everywhere...
Media raising the children, because parents (often divorced) are occupied by media, when they're not working away from home.

I think you'll find most people have no issue with people being gay, because it's none of their damn business.
They don't have to know, they don't want to know.

Don't say they don't force their convictions on anyone, an example a australian magazine was forced to shut down because advertisers flee after gay complaints after legalizing gay marriage, because they did not want to show wed gay couples.

And i think now they want to teach that being gay is ok and fine on schools, violating the will of many parents and Gods moral values.

Libraries are now with 'gay' books for children.
