Ex-Clinton aide: Hillary will run again in 2020

“True to her name, Mrs. Clinton will fight this out until the last dog dies,” the pair wrote. “She won’t let a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House.”

She won't run.
This is a trick to blame Trump for locking up political opponents when she goes to Gitmo for her crimes.
That way she can play victim and fuel the hate towards POTUS.

Opinion | Hillary Will Run Again

Get ready for Hillary Clinton 4.0. More than 30 years in the making, this new version of Mrs. Clinton, when she runs for president in 2020, will come full circle—back to the universal-health-care-promoting progressive firebrand of 1994. True to her name, Mrs. Clinton will fight this out until the last dog dies. She won’t let a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House.

"Well I'd like to be president. I think, hopefully, when we have a Democrat in the Oval Office in January of 2021, there's going to be so much work to be done. I mean we have confused everybody in the world, including ourselves. We have confused our friends and our enemies. They have no idea what the United States stands for, what we're likely to do, what we think is important, so the work would be work that I feel very well prepared for having been at the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department, and it's just going to be a lot of heavy lifting."

While I am no fan of hers ad I hope that she does not run, I can see the case for her to run again, After all, she won the Popular vote by almost 3 million and only lost the Presidency because she lost three traditional Democratic states by small margins. No doubt there is a desire to redeem herself so to speak, so who knows? However, it is a huge physical and emotional undertaking to travel the country for 18-20 months, running for President. I place the odds at roughly 50-50 that she will try again.

This much we can say with confidence. Starting in January or February, the potential candidates will begin to test the waters and a few will probably announce by then.

Imo, one would seriously have to be delusional to think Hillary would do a worse job than Trump.

Attitudes towards Hillary are the result of decades of Alt-Right talk radio demonizing everything Liberal and making the Clintons into the Boogey Man and Anti-Christ. Fact is, she is a political animal, she is smart, and she is more capable than Trump on every single level...

The only downside to Hillary, is that she is 100% old school Establishment.

However, thanks to Trump, we've seen what anti-Establishment looks like and I for one am ready to run back screaming into the bosom of old Establishment.

Trump had the opportunity to go down as one of the greatest presidents of all time. I mean that literally. All Trump needed (or needs) is 25%-ish of Hillary's political intelligence.

I'm being serious. Keep 100% of Trump's items and policies and strategies yet execute them in a way that utilizes Hillary Clinton's political intelligence and Trump would be bullet proof.

When talking about Politics on the World Stage--What you say matters, how you say it matters, and what you do matters... A flippant disregard for these facts is asinine and arrogant on an unimaginable level... It undermines your legitimacy and authority and ability to interact with other Nation States as well as unify the political structures underneath your umbrella.

Human beings are tricky creatures and you can't lead them by disregarding things they consider important. And for most of us, how our leaders present themselves, carry themselves, act, and what they say matters. To believe otherwise is quite frankly delusional, not to mention hypocritical.

Because the same people defending Trump for XYZ are the same people that wanted to lynch Obama for much less than XYZ... The hypocrisy is big enough to choke a hippo...

History loves a winner

fact is, if she runs and wins then it simply won't matter that she lost twice prior to the win...

How many times has Trump gone bankrupt?
Does it matter that he went Bankrupt X times? No, no it doesn't.

Wouldn't it be something of she ran again and actually defeated trump this time. Almost makes it worth voting for her again.

Might just bring more out to vote on both sides?

Just not sure that I'm loving the thoughts of Hillary and Trump going at it again?

Kind of like Groundhog Day.

I hope the DNC has more sense than to run Clinton again. She doesn't energize her party, and she does energize the opposition. I can't think of another potential Democratic candidate that I would prefer Hillary over.

If she does end up running, and did somehow manage to secure the Democrat nomination, I would likely end up holding my nose to vote for her, because, while I don't think she'd be a particularly good President, I think she'd be a significant improvement over Trump (that is a very low bar to exceed).

Democrats need someone who will energize the base so that they will get more House seats, governorships, state and local wins and Senate seats.

That person is NOT Hillary Clinton.

Best for the Democrats is for them to run a nobody, so that the vote is simply a "yes" or "no" on Trump. Obviously, the Democrats will still have their issues: medical care, climate and tax fairness.

If the DNC try this again, then they deserved to lose again at 2020 presidential elections. She is a bad candidate.

Absolutely. I think they deserved to lose 2016, as I think the base of the left was energized for Bernie, and when they pushed Hillary through, it killed enthusiasm from the left.

Despite the right's claim of Bernie being the "socialist" boogeyman, I think Bernie would have beaten Trump I the general.

if that happened we would have to give up our tighter borders and better economy.

don't like the thought of that.

Seriously could Hillary have pulled off the better deals that Trump has made in Europe with the Canadians and with Mexico?
I doubt it?

The DNC deserved to lose because Hillary ran a terrible campaign, didn't confront the email issue, and campaigned poorly in the MidWest.

Bernie would have energized the base and lost big time. A Socialist is NOT going to win nationally int he US in the next couple of decades.

Bernie's not really a "socialist" in the sense of the word that the right tries to portray him as.
