2 Timothy 4: 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

That's not fair treatment.
It's not as if Rapture doctrine is unheard of.
Why should this poster need to present a case to you that is already common knowledge?

It is all at the same time, not years apart. At the second coming of Christ.

When we die, our spirit goes to the Father. Jesus brings back those spirits with Him to be reunited with their bodies at the first resurreciton. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them, and there we will always be with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

What is NOT said here is that those who were raptured 7 years prior will return with Christ. No, just the DEAD (are asleep) in Christ. A secret rapture is just not supported anywhere in scripture.

Is this "spirit pool" doctrine? (or whatever it is called)
Where God had all the spirits, or as part of his Spirit then released them into the world that they would return to his spirit in the end?

Now what has been presented here or elsewhere that is not bible truth? If you have God's Word share it and prove your case? All I see is your own words, pointing people to the word of website instead of the Word of God.

If we are from God should we not point people to the Word of God? Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God *MATTHEW 15:3-9.

Myself and many others have already shared God's Word with you numerous times, but you seem incapable of seeing anything beyond your SDA indoctrination and only see what you want to see. The "word of website" as you call it, is a website run by brother Anderson (who was "past tense" a member of the SDA church for 33 years) and his website offers a thorough rebuttal USING SCRIPTURE to SDA teachings in regards to - "the mark of the beast" (the topic at hand) in response to Monk Brendan.

If you have God's WORD than share it. All I am hearing is your own words over God's WORD. I have visited the website you promote and all I see is misinformation.

Please show me what I have posted here or elswhere on this forum that you believe is not God's WORD and let's discuss it and compare it to the light of God's WORD? If you cannot why make claims you cannot prove with God's WORD and point others to the word of website and the teachings of men instead of the Word of God?

Everything presented here in regards to the OP questions is being linked in the first post on the first page. Perhaps you would like to go through it and show how what has been provided so far is not God's WORD? Or maybe you have something constructive to share in relation to the OP here? I respect what you have to say, but I don't fully agree.
And I'm not even saying that I am correct , but the resurrection of the dead in Christ will be those who have passed away since Pentacost. The remaining believers (The Church) will also meet the Lord in the air/clouds. The Lord is coming yes, but He will not set foot on earth at this juncture because this will not be The Second Coming of Chirist , but rather the removal of the Church.
The Second Coming occurs after the Great Tribulation where He sets foot on The Mount of Olives.
Two distinct and separate awesome, marvelous, and glorious events!
Please Lord come quick!

It is interesting when studying the book of REVELATIONS and amazing as you look at the scriptures. For prophetic scriptures we read..

2 PETER 1:19-21
[19], We have also a more sure word of prophecy; to which you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: [20], Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of one's own interpretation. [21], For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

THE RULES for intepreting prophetic scripture is to let God's WORD interpret itself. Let God's WORD interpret what the symbols mean. This is the key to understanding the symbols used in prophecy.

It is interesting as you study the prophetic scriptures you will find that the scriptures interpret themselves and tell you what their meaning is. For example what does a BEAST and it's HORNS represent in the prophetic scriptures?

DANIEL 7:23-24
[23], Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. [24], And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

CONCLUSION: According to God's WORD a BEAST represtents a KINGDOM, GOVERNMENT and POLITICAL POWER. While the HORNS of the BEAST can represent the KING that rises out of a KINGDOM.

So you don’t believe Abraham or Noah or Job or folks like that who walked in the righteousness of faith with the Lord, will be resurrected with the saints?

Hi brother Lost4words, it is interesting when you look at the Books of Daniel and Revelation. As 2 PETER says..

The scriptures interpret themselves and tell you what their meaning is.

I beleive that both the books of DANIEL and REVELATION should be read together with the rest of God's WORD but to answer your question, I believe that the book of REVELATION is both literal and symbolic but those symbols are defined in God's WORD, with the scripture defining scripture and revealing the meaning of what those symbols represent.
