I did post two verses that proved the Sixth Seal, Day of the Lord's wrath is a single, literal day.
Here are most of them: Isaiah 9:14, Zechariah 3:9, Psalms 18:11, Habakkuk 2:2-3, Isaiah 2:12, Isaiah 22:5, Isaiah 29:5-6, Zephaniah 1:7-10, Revelation 18:8, and Isaiah 30:26a tells us what the Lord will use on that Day.

As for earth time compared to heavenly time; it is quite illogical and impossible for them to be the same. Heaven does not orbit the sun.
We are given a formula, we can do math, we can see how the Seventh Seal fits as a time gap from the Sixth Seal until the Return.

A change of mind from what you always assumed, to the real truths, would be to your advantage, as the end of this age comes upon us all.

You have your imagination along with those scriptures you mention. I don't have it - so I have to go by what is written. I find that for many people that write on these threads, their imagination far outweighs the actual texts they use.

Yes, you found verses that say "one day." But none of them are really tied to "the day of the Lord." That is where your imagination comes in. You imagine they are speaking of THE DAY.

the Seventh Seal fits as a time gap from the Sixth Seal until the Return

Say WHAT? The 7th seal, like all the other seals, is sealing THE BOOK. Once all seals are opened, their purpose is finished. Then the BOOK can be opened. What we read after the 7th seal onward is what is written inside the book. And we don't see the return of Christ until chapter 19, 2520 plus days into the future from the 7th seal.

Therefore I am still believing the day will be an extended period of time.

When it is known; and the Bible prophets plainly do tell us; what it is that the Lord will use on His Day of wrath, then one day will suffice to do everything described.
If what will happen lasts longer than one day, there would be no survivors. As it is, probably 2 billion will die around the world, but mainly in the entire Middle East area. Ezekiel 30:1-5, Isaiah 66:15-17, 2 Peter 3:7

The verses I posted of the Lord's Day of wrath being only one literal day, are proof enough. Your opinion, without any support, is of no value.

The verses you posted are of no value for this argument for they are not tied by scipture to the Day of the Lord. There IS no scripture that comes right out and says THE DAY is only one 24 hour period. That is why most commentators suggest it is an extended period of time. When we add up all the events that must happen in THE DAY, it does not make sense as one 24 hour day. In Revelation it begins at the 6th seal, but to fufull the Old Testament verses on THE DAY, it continues on through the trumpets and vials.

Isaiah 13:9
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

This is what the trumpet and vial judgments do: they make the land (including the water) desolate. And destroying the sinners continues on to include the parable of the tares and the judgment of the nations.

Only the great and terrible Day, Joel 2:31, when it happens, will convince you, for if it lasted for a longer time, no one would survive.

That is human reasoning, but not scripture. It DOES last at least through the 70th week and probably longer.

Something for a shorter duration? I suspect the first 6 vials are poured out in one hour.

These 72 Bible verses are most of those which describe the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath. Obviously a single, literal day, as the effects cannot be continuous for a longer period.
It is quite different and separate from what happens at the Day of the Sovereign Lord, Revelation 16:14, that is at the Return of Jesus. It is obvious that this terrible Day is before the Return, as ‘He will arise, He sends fire, dense cloud enfolds Him’, etc. Psalms 11:4-6, Psalms 18:7-12 It is not and cannot be a manmade event, such as a nuclear exchange, that would not cause all the effects described and would leave radiation pollution in the Land.

This Day is the means whereby the Lord judges the nations, not individuals, as at the Great White Throne, much later and it is mainly those nations and entities that commence an attack upon the State of Israel. It will be the fulfilment of Psalms 83 and Micah 4:11-12.

All of the Land promised to the Patriarchs will be cleansed and depopulated, excepting for a protected remnant of Messianic Jews in Jerusalem. Isaiah 4:5, Isaiah 37:31-32, Daniel 12:1

This event will allow the second Exodus to take place – all those whom the Lord will call – His people, those righteous ones who love and obey Him: every born again Christian, will travel to the new country of Beulah, to live there in peace, security and great prosperity. Ezekiel 36, Jeremiah 30, Romans 9:24-26

‘Many’ of them will agree to a seven year peace treaty with the World leader, but he will break it by coming to Jerusalem and enthroning himself in the Temple. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

Half of the Israelites, those who did not agree to the treaty, will be taken to a place of safety for 3½ years – the duration of the Great Tribulation. Then the Lord Jesus Returns, to reign for 1000 years.

Expect to experience it !
This terrible Day will come upon everyone, the whole world over. Luke 21:34-35
And do not think the next verse means you will 'escape' it, because that is a direct contradiction of the just previous verses and as all the prophesies about that Day attest.
What we Christians, all who stand firm in their faith and call upon the Name of the Lord, is protection on that Day.
