CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You know, that reminds me of something. This is totally the kind of music you would be finding on my playlist at work, and some folks at Albemarle used to make fun of me for it (again, they could barely hear it unless they came into my area purposefully, which is dumb), especially this one guy who was there the last time I was ten years ago, a dude named McCook. He definitely gave me a hard time about being fond of music in an Asian language. Simply because it wasn't in English, it was "weeeeeird" music to him ... yet he tried to convince me that Fergie was a great artist. ... Yeah, the Fergie from the group Black-Eyed Peas.

... So, yeah, according to McCook I needed to get with the program by listening to more sophisticated artists such as the singer of "My Humps" and "Fergilicious".
I guess it automatically wins because it is (allegedly) sung in English, which as with 90% of post-millennium pop songs is certainly debatable.
