  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If Hillary Clinton doesn't run for POTUS again

Hillary Clinton Reset Button.jpg

Will her endorsement of whichever Democrat candidate hurt or help their chances of winning?

For me; her endorsement does not help.
I said a similar thing in 2015-16, "I won't be voting for anyone named Clinton nor Bush and skeptical of anyone they endorse."

fwiw, I ended up voting third party (again).

I don't care about Hillary Clinton, if she endorses someone in 2020, then so be it, if she doesn't, so be it. I'm not going to care. I'm going to vote according to my conscience, not according to who Clinton does or doesn't endorse. I simply don't care.

She's so dang Right Wing I can't even see her from Sarah Palin's house.

Biggest SuperPAC, private speaker to the biggest banks, used to be middle class but is now in the elite...

Her endorsement would be seen as a curse, but then again everyone makes mistakes so overall probably no difference.

It’s allowed. If you don’t want to, you don’t need to post in those threads.

My question is quite serious. They're always talking about Hillary this and Hillary that, but I don't see any of the non-Conservatives bringing her up. I'm wondering why that is.

Then start a thread somewhere.

Endorsements are of little value anymore, but I suppose her endorsement might help slightly in the Democratic nominating process. However, I doubt very much that she would choose a candidate during the primary and caucus season.

Al Gore lost in 2000.

Al Gore endorsed Howard Dean in '04.

Shortly afterwards, Dean tanked and was out of the race.
Did you know there's still a Howard Deam scream ringtone out there? Hilarious.

They never got the memo that the rest of us have moved on.

She must have missed it too. ;)
