What did Christians do before the KJV was released, how would they have known what was the true word of God before this?
Pick a year and I'll tell you what true word of God they used.
AD 1000? they used the AV700 Anglo-Saxon Bible
AD 1700? they used the AV1611 King James Bible
AD 620? they used the AV330 Gothic Bible
This isn't rocket science.

Why should Christians of nowadays take the KJV to be the absolute word of God over everything else?
Hey ... you still want to use Windows 3.1? knock yourself out.
If you prefer riding a horse to driving a car, be my guest.
If you'd rather divide on paper, instead of use a calculator, have at it.
If the AV1611 bothers you so much, you have six Others to choose from.
