Just as predictable with the Obama supporters deflecting to Bush. There’s no moral high ground here.

Not really - Bush really did destabilize the Middle East by invading Iraq with no plan for "nation-building" on tenuous grounds that were found after the decision to invade had been made - according to Rumsfeld. The so-called Bush economy was already in the throes of the worst recession since the Great Depression when Obama took office (Bush had already begun to do the right thing with the TARP plan). Those are the two main problems that Obama inherited.

Right-wingers are trying to lay the blame for Russian election interference - now that denial is lamentably so untenable - on Obama saying he did nothing to stop it and, gasp! probably wanted it while poor Donald is just the innocent victim. One of the goals of the interference was to call into question the legitimacy of the process itself, so, in that sense, Donald is a victim, but given his reluctance to sanction and investigate, it's hard to judge how innocent; it seems to have been a resounding success on that front.

Actually, President Trump's way of handling Russia is to speak softly while carrying a big stick (a strong military). But the anti-Trumpers want him to speak loudly.

I watched Putin's avid attention to Trump's talk during the conference, as if he were ready to pounce if Trump went off the script handed to him by the Russians.

When he made a mildly negative phrase about Russia, Putin turned around and bored his eyes into Trump, rolling them as he focused.

Unlike many, I don't think the sex tapes are the axe Putin is holding over Trump. I think it's tens, perhaps hundreds of millions in loans that Russia will call in unless Trump does their bidding.

True, but let's be clear about one thing: Donald Trump is in a league of his own. "Freak Show" is the best term that comes to mind - the rest of the world is caught been laughter (at this parody of a chief executive) and fear of what international disaster his malignant narcissism might wreak.

A deeply embarrassing time for America, but one which, I hope and expect, will be an unpleasant memory in about 2 and a half years.

Perhaps they care about born children and former children but not so much about embryos.

Jesus was Jesus, as soon as He was conceived in Mary's womb . . . I offer, but I understand you might simply not believe things like this. So, partly from this I accept that an embryo is an unborn person.

So, in case God really does see the unborn as being humans, this is a concern if people are taking it on themselves to be ok with killing unborn people, right while they act as though they care about children of illegal immigrants. If all are created equal, I need to care about those who have been created in the womb. But also care about children who have illegally been brought from Mexico into the United States.

But I understand ones could need asylum. It see it being possible that Democrats might genuinely care more for Hispanics, depending on how each individual really is.

But there is politics in the mix. You can get votes by raising an emotional issue, readily getting large blocs of votes. Either party can have people doing this.

That was the big thing on FOX News for two or three weeks. It seems choosing to show allegiance to Putin and Russia over America is much less problematic according to Sean Hannity.
