Isaiah 44:8 "Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any."

God has no God... He believes only in Himself. So... irony of ironies... does that mean God is an atheist?

See, they aren't all bad ;)

I agree.

Personally I wouldn't go to an Atheist board to hang out because they have nothing I'm interested in, yet for whatever reason, and I think it varies, they are interested in what goes on here.
Hopefully it is the Holy Spirit guiding them to the Truth.

Did Dr. Michael Yeager get to see Super Strings as worms......
and Super Waves / fundamental energy waves as a lake of fire?????

A VISION of HELL Gehenna - HADES - SHEOL. It is Eternal Torment!

Dr. Michael Yeager, on the verge of suicide and with a knife to his wrist a fear hit him which he now recognizes as the fear of God. He dropped his knife and went to his knees and asked the Lord to forgive him of his sins and he gave his life to the Lord.

He was immediately freed from all addictions and was given a desire to tell others about Jesus. What stuck out to me the most is that he said that selfishness is the beginning of being on the pathway to hell. He mentions things like being obsessed with TV watching, sports and anything else we love more than God, as very dangerous and can place us on the wrong path.

One night when in prayer he received a vision of hell and the floor of his room opened up he kept falling down and down in a deep dark hole for miles and miles. It was very real and he could see, touch, smell, feel everything. Fear was filling his whole being.

A wind was blowing from this hole that seemed to be bottomless and the odor was so strong it was sickening. By looking between his feet he could see a distant orange glow. As he approached this orange glow it became bigger and bigger and he then entered a cavern and he was over a huge area of what looked like lava sending flames hundreds of feet into the air. Earth shattering explosions could also be heard. He knew he was still about 10,000 feet above this burning sea and even at that distance the heat was almost too much to bear and it felt like his skin was actually burning off.

The smell was so nauseating that it made him cough and gasp for air but there was none. His ears than began to be filled with a very eerie sound that sounded like humming. This sound was constant and got louder and louder as he approached the lava. God opened his understanding as to what the sound was. The sound was actually human beings screaming in unbelievable agony. He realized that God was showing him a vision of hell.

At about 200 feet above this lake of lava, fire and brimstone, the pain got almost too much to bear. He then saw some objects bobbing up and down in this burning sea of what looked like lava. There were tens of thousands of these objects. These objects were actually human beings bobbing up and down and back and forth. These people were weeping and wailing in extreme agony.

No relief from pain was available to them. Their bodies were burned black in this sea of fire and brimstone. Suddenly he plunged into the lava and it covered him and filled his eyes, nose throat, lungs etc. His eyes felt like they were being consumed out of their sockets and could barely breathe. He finds it difficult to explain the amount of pain he was experiencing. He also knew hell was eternal and no chance of getting out.

He was shown that selfishness is the gateway to hell. Excruciating pain overtook him fully as he was submerged in this sea of fire and brimstone that looked like lava. As he was sucked down into this sea he was in total darkness with no light at all. He was suffocating and could not take a breath but yet he was not dying. When he returned to the surface he realized that he was till intact and his five senses were very much alive.

There were other creatures in the sea of fire that looked like huge worms. They would come to the surface and then disappear and then return to the surface. About 20 feet from him he saw them coming to the surface and they were coming towards him. When they reached him they began boring into him and went inside his body and brain and were coming out of his eyes. They were driving him insane. (where the worm dieth not) There is no end to these things in hell. They are eternal. There is no place to go for any relief. There is no love there. It is totally void of love. An emptiness beyond comprehension enveloped him.

Although there were many, many others there, there were no communications whatsoever. Your memory is also there still with you and you can remember everything that went on in your life, including each time the Gospel was presented to you and you refused.

He then was gripped with an intense thirst. There was no way to quench this thirst. (rich man and Lazarus) If the message of the Gospel is rejected you will be forever tormented in hell like the Bible so clearly says. The voice of God then echoed across the sea of fire and brimstone and lava telling hell to release him and he was returned back to his room. " (Dr. Michael Yeager)

Lol no...it was a serious question. What religions do you think they favor?

Religions that are Universalist!

For the record......
Messianic Judaism may have been rather universalist for a couple of centuries.......

Because they feel superior and smarter than Christians who believe in silly fairy tales. They don’t realize how much actual evidence we’ve seen and research we’ve done to come to believe in God. God bless them with understanding.

Why do you think that is?

Several reasons I guess......
obviously the idea of eventual universal salvation is comforting and certainly would fit with a Creator who genuinely loves us.

Also....as a Theist I consider that time is an invention..... and one seventh of time was made Holy so
if time branches... and if Ezekiel 37 is not limited to being a one time event then perhaps
the Creator works out new time lines in which more and more people come into a mind set where they can fit into heaven / paradise.

Multiverse Theory and multiple Ezekiel 37 type events.

Why do you think that is?

The Apostle Paul hinted that he may have had a near death experience.... or at least he may have known somebody like Lazarus who had one.......
and he did mention being shown things "not lawful to be uttered" which I suspect could include the somewhat hidden truth of eventual universal salvation.

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; ) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; )
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
(II Corinthians 12:2-4)

Howard Storm Ph. D:
"I asked how God could let the Holocaust of World War II happen. We were transported to a railway station as a long train of freight cars was being unloaded of its human cargo. The guards were screaming and beating the people into submission. The people were Jewish men, women, and children. Exhausted from hunger and thirst, they were totally disoriented from the ordeal of being rounded up and sent on a long journey to an unknown destination. They believed that they were going to work camps, and that their submission to the brutality of the guards was the only way to survive.

We went to the area where the selection process was taking place and heard the guards talking about "the Angel Maker." We went to the place the guards were referring to as "the Angel Maker," which was a series of ovens. I saw piles of naked corpses being loaded into the ovens, and I began to cry. Jesus said to me, "These are the people God loves." Then he said, "Look up." Rising out of the smoke of the chimneys, I saw hundreds of people being met by thousands of angels taking them up into the sky. There was great joy in the faces of the people, and there appeared to be no trace of a memory of the horrendous suffering they had just endured. How ironic that the guards sarcastically called the ovens "the Angel Maker."

I asked how God could allow this to happen. They told me that this was not God's will. This was an abomination to God. God wants this never to happen again. This was the sacrifice of an innocent people to whom God had given the law to be an example, a light, to the rest of the world. This Holocaust was breaking God's heart. The anguish that Jesus was suffering at the slaughter of his people was too much for me to bear and I begged that we leave this place. I will never forget this: his anguish at this horror and what it represents. This was one of the low points in human history."

I asked, Why does God let things like this happen? They told me that God was very unhappy with the course of human history and was going to intervene to change the world. God had watched us sink to depths of depravity and cruelty at the very time that he was giving us the instruments to make the world a godlier world. God had intervened in the world many times before, but this time God was going to change the course of human events." (Howard Storm, My Descent Into Death, page 42,43)

That's interesting...I can't say I've ever known an atheist who favored universalism, but I'm sure they exist.

Why do atheists post on ChristianForums?

It doesn't seem to me they enjoy bantering with Christians who never accept any of their assertions and who probably never will.

-It is interesting to discuss issues with people who don't just agree with you
-I am interested in human psychology and observing human behaviors, in relation to how they justify what they believe (or don't believe) and how this impacts how they judge those, who disagree with them.

I'd like to think that, I know I recently added to my prayers that God do all he will allow himself to do beyond taking away free will to draw anyone and everyone to him.

That is after all one of, if not the most important goal for a christian.

Why do atheists post on ChristianForums?

Because hey think they're smarter and want this confirmed.

Yep, there is that bunch to, you know, the ones that think big words actually equate to wisdom when in reality, they often are just showing their own insecurity. And I'm talking words with plenty of familiar alternatives.

Smart is making sure everyone understands what we say, and I always thought it funny when we have to look up every word out of someones mouth...it really does speak volumes about their actual intentions.

Well, if people who disagree with you are missing some truth, demonstrate this truth.

You didn't actually think I didn't already know where you were headed with that? What's the point in trying? You've been around here long enough to have heard it all so your only possible motive would be to get into an endless argument that you can't win as far as we're concerned, and vice versa..

In short, you're missing nothing, but you all have at it if you want.
