What are some things we both agree upon as being 100% absolutely true that is not under dispute?
1. The sky is blue on a clear and sunny afternoon day.
2. Rain is wet.
I am hoping these two things are not under dispute. But if somebody came along and said, the sky is not blue on a clear and sunny afternoon day and rain is not wet, then we have every right to denounce such statements as drivel because we know better. If somebody wanted to discuss this topic with us here, that would be one thing to try and talk and reason with them, right? But if they wanted us to check out long articles or watch videos on such drivel, it would be pointless because we both know the obvious fact on these two things.
Answering a "yes" or "no" here on the forums is not the same as asking me to investigate and read long articles and watch videos on false drivel. I have a feeling that your answer condemns you. So that is the real reason why you are not answering. Am I correct?
I know enough about the Flat Earth model to refute it. It is all made up non-sense. Again, make a 3D model on a computer of a Flat Earth and you will see the same simulations I showed you.
Besides, you have no photos or video footage of the drop off points of the Earth. There is no photos or video footage of gunships preventing tourists from going to Antarctica. Yet, we have photos and videos of people capturing a round Earth and people visiting Antarctica.
Side Note:
Why is it that when Flat Earthers say they believe in both a spherical Earth and also a flat Earth as being potentially true they also talk in such an emotional die hard way about the Earth being flat?
I believe Flat Earth theorists either:
(a) Had a traumatic experience in their life so as to side with unreality.
(b) Felt hurt or cheated by the government and so they have an unhealthy distrust of anything to do with the government.
(c) Lived an isolated and lonely life and so they feel like they need to feel special and different so as to stand out to others (so as to gain attention that they never had before).
Again, do you dispute the sky as being blue and rain as being wet? No. Surely not. This has to do with people not dealing with reality here. I know you cannot see that now, but one day you will. I guarantee it.
When you want to decide in finding the truth, making a flat Earth model in a 3D program or in real life to test what it looks like from the ground is just moments away within your life.
May God bless you.
You can assume all that you want about why some people believe one view or another until the cows come home. You will not be correct.
Well, you may be correct with some..
For the most part, the FE'ers that are solid and have absolutely no issue with stating that they are flat earth believers.... many are Christians, some are Christians now that they have converted to believe in the flat earth.
100% of flat earth believers started out with the "go on" and "you cannot be serious" attitude. Yes, they laughed their selves silly with the notion.
The other thing that 100% of the true FE believers have in common is that they tossed out years, some 1/2 of a century of learned and taught views... to accept something that is totally against all the things we are taught.
One final thing, of the many, that 100% of the FE believers have in common.. they researched and studied all the data they could find. Somewhere along the line, something stuck out, they grabbed it and it, for whatever reason, caused them to have a spark of belief. Further investigation caused them to believe.
They did not get that way by looking at what others have showed them and balking.
They may have started there.. but... sooner or later they started legitimate research that would allow them the right to argue... not like those who see a couple of things, don't investigate anything themselves and continue to spout what they have been taught since they were 4 years old.
