  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And the point of that is?
Did you watch it?

So, you have Stanley Kubrick, the one who has already been rumored to have faked the moon landings.... admitting to the fact that he faked the moon landings...

Ya.... guess your right........ what's the point.

Like I'm going to watch a 40 minute conspiracy video. And is that actually Kubrick?

And the moon landing wasn't faked. I saw it on TV (a TV signal that came directly from the moon to Australia).
LOL you don't have to watch 40 minutes. His clip is in the first 5 minutes, if that.

Ya, I saw it on TV too... I also saw The Dukes of Hazard jump a car over ditches, piles of dirt and rivers that were missing bridges, they never damaged that car, they drove it forever and it always looked show room ready...... and they squealed their tires on sand.... TV is real..... real fake.

The TV Broadcasting companies, at the time of the moon "ahem" landing were supper upset that they had to film the broadcast off of a projected image from the NASA feed instead of getting the raw feed.

Why do you think that was? News flash... this was to hide the fraud.

You miss my point. I was in Australia. I saw the raw feed.

And the raw feed didn't come from NASA. It came from an Australian radiotelescope.

I've seen objects over distances the curve would render impossible.
So there. ;)

No way military intelligence would monitor or censor that.
NO WAY!

I'll bet you've also seen movies and TV shows depicting the Vietnam war, World War 2 and the attack on Pearl Harbor, proving all those events were faked as well.

Exactly.
Never an actual proof, never a moment's consideration of anything other than what they've been told.
My comfort zone is my relationship with my creator, not my knowledge of His creation.
Not many are able to suspend their indoctrinated beliefs long enough to test the structural integrity of alternate theories unless it's a movie that engages their lowest appetites.
And yet they revel in denigrating those who do.

They come into this forum with know-it-all attitudes and condescend to tell us if indirectly, what idiots we are.
It's pretty easy to find the curve formula and then find an across water line of sight that defies it.
I haven't even researched the flat earth issue at all yet myself but I'm inclined to believe that it is indeed flat based on one thing and one thing only. The flat earth people seem to have actually researched the topic and have invested substantial time and energy. The round earth people just seem like the typical brain washed zombies who regurgitate what they have been told without hardly any genuine consideration. So, if I had to roll the dice based on only that single morsel of information ...I'd stand with flat earth!

Some of the greatest minds humanity has ever generated have contributed to this problem ---- Eratosthenes, Ptolemy, Copernicus, Kepler, Brahe, Galileo, Newton and dozens of others too numerous to list plus about half the posters on this thread, myself included, and you dismiss them as "typical brain washed zombies"??? Well, I must admit that I am not surprised at all.

Well, apart from all those scientists, engineers, astronauts, geologists and others who spend their lives conducting peer-reviewed research on the Earth.

The boys from CSIRO pointed their dish at the moon. That's where the signal came from. Australian TV got it from CSIRO.

NASA also got it from CSIRO. The US broadcasters got it from NASA.

I was only basing my remark on quite a few comments I have read in a few forums. But I absolutely have not formed an opinion. I apologize for my harsh remark.

Well, no. "Research" does not mean "look at crazy YouTube videos."

"Research" means travelling to Australia, catching the flight that flatearthers say doesn't exist, seeing the southern stars, reading books from the Middle Ages or from 2300 BC about why the earth is round, and watching pictures from space.

See... that's just it. We are of two very different mind sets....

I say "these movies proves that they could show me video of some event and it could be totally fake but would look totally real"

I say "that depiction of an attack on Pearl Harbor looked like it actually happened and we were watching it as it took place"

I say "nothing that NASA shows me can be proven just by the fact that they show me a video....their budget is far greater than any of the film production companies."

AND... I still say that Sandra Bullock didn't go to space.... although it really, really, really looked like she did.

Could this be why we don't see any movies which depict the moon landing? It would prove how easy it was to fake it.

You keep talking about NASA. The original TV footage of the moon landing came from Australia. Other nations have taken photographs of the landing sites. And many, many people have verified the existence of the retroreflectors that the astronauts left behind.

Of course they did. YA, NASA got all their transmissions via CSIRO.....OR.....Anyone could just point a radio receiver at the moon and get access to NASA radio transmissions....This is why the broadcasters in the US had to get all their images and audio from low resolution video of a projection screen.

Say... how come my CB radio will only go about 5 miles... send and receive... yet they could send voice and video all the way from the moon... some 240000 miles away...things that make you go hmmmmm.
