  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why Vaccinations Shouldn't be Optional

What does religion have to do with whether vaccination is a good idea or not?
Also, btw, what "religion" , according to Ephesians chapter 2, and later Revelation,
is the whole world / society in ? (obviously NOT Christian, no, quite not)

But I still think its foolish to say vaccines are bad, just because... I think that's an overly dogmatic statement that doesn't live up to empirical evidence.
It might be foolish if anyone thinks that "just because", but they would still do well to find out more then, instead of "just because".
Remember "empirical evidence" is not trustworthy according to all of God's Word.
Most people may be taught otherwise, but that also is warned about in God's Word.
(with similar warnings about "man's knowledge" and man's wisdom being foolishness to God, since man with such knowledge and such wisdom turns away from serving/worshiping the Creator to serving/worshiping creatures)

Oh, btw, internet search "germ theory" to see why it is still a theory and not fact.
Also "terrain theory" which might be found to be more accurate.

You must be the first person I meet who doubts germ theory. Impressive and sad at the same time.

Who said I doubt germ theory? Did you find out why it is still called theory ?

Because there is nothing above it. A scientific theory is the highest possible stage it can get. The germ theory will never change to "germ fact".

I'm a mainline Lutheran. The Bible is not a science textbook. It tells us how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go.

So ? The Bible is true, right?! Did you ever or never read what the Bible says about mankind ? About society ? About many things posted about, directly contrary to the Bible ?

The Bible does not contain all of life's answers or all possible truths.

I am sorry that you didn't recieve any education about science. But dont fret, you still have time to educate yourself.
hahaha again, rofl x 10e1000......... ( due to conditions present beyond my control, it is not beneficial to you nor anyone else not seeking the truth to continue here in this thread topic nor to disclose what you do not want to hear further )
None-the-less, GOD'S PROMISE (not mine), (so it is reliable and always true),
is that if you seek the truth, and keep seeking the truth, you will find it.
Obviously, that has not suited you so far. < shrug > That's on your shoulders, not mine.

The Bible does not contain all of life's answers or all possible truths.
Until it is read, it does not.
When it is read, and YHVH grants understanding, it does. (from YHVH) YHVH Perfectly Knows all things for all time, and reveals everything concerning healing (salvation) to infants who trust Him, as Jesus clearly says in Scripture. i.e. by revelation, not relying on flesh nor on man's limited ability/mind/ knowledge.
Jesus says He never leaves His sheep on their own - and that His sheep hear His Voice (to guide us every day) and will not follow man or another voice instead of Jesus.

All of the above concerns, questions and knowledge is contained throughout all Scripture, clear and simple, without controversy and without contradiction.
The Bible does not contain all of life's answers or all possible truths.
So even if it were possible that some answer might not be found in Scripture,
the answers to what I posted are all clearly written in God's Word (Scripture),
and are contrary to most of mankind's knowedge, (and posts),
since most of mankind opposes God and continually rejects Jesus Salvation.

You and no one else either have ever proven anything with such empty pharma praise, honoring disastrous anti-life corporations instead of honoring YHVH SOVEREIGN CREATOR.

You think that spreading lies that get people killed is honoring God?

Proverbs 13:5 said:
A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

When you were at Chiropractic College what did you think about the vitalism module?
As a Christian I had to learn to eat the grapes and spit out the seeds of Chiropractic philosophy classes. Unlike those here who've obviously just swallowed the medical philosophy hook, line and sinker.

And, if Chiropractic was just quackery, as you believe, than you are also in opposition to the government and health insurance industry of this country which pay for its services. But if they're paying for quackery it would most certainly have to be because they're not as smart as the idiots here.
