There's plenty of evidence. There's the core principle, which is simply algorithmic - in a population with heritable variation of traits, the traits that lead to the greatest reproductive success will inevitably spread through the population over successive generations (because individuals with those traits will have more offspring - that also have those traits), resulting in gradual change of the population in favour of those traits. There are also independent lines of evidence from five fields of knowledge that support it, each of which is consistent with the theory, and each of which has satisfied the predictions of the theory in that field.

Repeating that: "evolution happens over a very long period of time effecting an entire generation that is, from what you guys tell me, is without individuals" is not an answer.

No-one here has said that. Evolution is a gradual change in populations over many generations, by the effect outlined above.
