What is your process for putting the events detailed in Revelation in chronological order?
Hello DougggWhat is your process for putting the events detailed in Revelation in chronological order?
It seems to me that Revelation is a merging of present and future, so I would find it difficult to put events into a chronological order.
There are many places in the world where believers say they are going through their great tribulation right now.Could you provide an example of what you are getting at here?
Welcome to the Eschatology forum, Andy.Hello Douggg
Wow! Put the events of Revelation in a chronological order? To do that, one must first understand that these events in Revelation start from the Beginning in Genesis and up through the end of the scriptures.
To understand Genesis to a certain degree, has taken this one more than 50 years of study and prayer. I feel I have a good grasp on it now, but certainly not a full grasp of it. Having said this, I would be more than happy to write on Genesis over a period of time; if God permits.

We need to put it according to proper grammar.
such as - watching for when John uses the definite article
such as - first he said - seven stars
When he wanted to tell us more about them later, he said - the seven stars.
The events of Revelation are seen in parallel teachings of the same event. What is your process for putting the events detailed in Revelation in chronological order?
Each person has his own interpretation and will defend it with the sound of thunders. What is your process for putting the events detailed in Revelation in chronological order?
There are hundreds of interpretations each with quoted scriptural defense.Present your interpretation, and scripturally defend it?

Excellent presentation of the second coming, final judgment, shown in different chapters of the Revelation. We must look at the text and make sure our interpretation does not produce a conflict with other passages.
If ourscripture tation produces a conflict, it cannot be correct.
We cannot ignore anything just because it destroys our system of interpretation.
Early in the book we find the seals book and find out that only Christ is worthy to remove the seals from the book. Over and over again in the passage Christ removes the seals one at a time and then John is told "Come and see." This section contains a summary of the whole Book of Revelation, which ends in the Second Coming at the end of chapter 6.
Christ's Second Coming must be in chapter 6, where we find the same signs in the sun, moon, and stars that are found in the Olivet Discourse. (The moon does not give its light during a Blood Moon.)
We have some or the same characters found in chapter 19 hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. (mighty men, captains, free, bond, etc.) They would not be hiding from the wrath of the Lamb, unless the Lamb is present at this point in time.
The Second Coming is found at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet found in the Book of Revelation and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The text says this is the time when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of God and Christ "forever". How long is "forever"? Many try to ignore the time of the judgment of the dead in this passage, because it ruins their chronology.
The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson which includes the fall of Satan and the birth and death of Christ.
The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14.
It is found again when He "comes as a thief" at Armageddon in Revelation 16:15-16.
It is found also in chapter 19.
If we take the text at face value we are forced to see that the Book of Revelation is a series of overlapping visions, given to John on the island of Patmos.
