I talked with Christians in Alabama just the other day and they told me that, "Moore seemed to have major issues but, they could not support someone who supports abortion and gay marriage. " These are good Christians who have given millions of dollars to Christian charities and also are Gideon members.

I'm also a Gideon.

To each his own vote for whoever you want. I have enough sin, when I stand before God I don't need to add one (major one) more.

Well what exactly did those folks think Roy Moore was going to be able to do about abortion? It doesn't make a lick of sense to support him on account of that, unless you're under the impression that he'd have the ability to unilaterally change laws that have been in place for 45 years or so. Roy Moore had committed plenty of sins on his own Christians ought not stand for & I'm glad most folks in AL didn't.

Aren't they also Republicans and so therefore in the won...they would be a Republican in Washington? Or do they believe they're the real Republican party and all the GOP in Washington are "RINO"s.

48 % of alabama voted for a child molesting theocrat. That's not exactly dispelling stereotypes, especially when the victory for jones primarily came from one demographic.

We are at the point where people lie shamelessly and don't even bother to hide it. There's no need to have any solid basis for accusations, since they know that if they say them often enough and loudly enough the average Joe on the street will assume that there must be something to the accusations.

There's still a little bit of cover in the sense that news organizations offer retractions for their more brazen lies, but when the story appears on page 1 and the retraction appears a week later on page 15, it's not really fooling anyone who's paying attention. Of course, the intended audience for the media consists largely of people who aren't paying attention.

ONE of his accusers said she added his name and date to the signature in her yearbook. That’s not the same thing as saying she forged the whole thing.

And, even if she had, one of his accusers being a liar doesn’t make them all liars.

The downside is that I did have lots of sex with women that I wasn't married too, nor did I have any intention of having children with.

I'm not sure who you hung around with as a youth, but as far as I know, none of my male friends acted like pigs and if they had, I would have called them out on it.

There is really no excuse for touching a woman when she doesn't want you to.

I wasn't always perfect but I've never tried to bone a 14yo, even when I was 14.
