Love it! As long as the Spirit is seen as something separate/outside of 'self', there is not 'one'...that God's dwelling place is within us, the temple not made with human hands. While duality remains within, there are idols (image created in the mind) that are worshipped as truth (which is really a lie). The carnal mind divides everything, while God's kingdom has always been one since before the foundation of the world was laid.David H J Gay on the New Covenant in the Book of Ezekiel

What happened with Israel in scripture is the narrative of our soul's journey (process taking place within)...our soul likened to the land and the promise of entering in...internal/inner truth. The joining of the two sticks...man sees two kingdoms which relates to perceiving...that heaven is a far off place and coming in the sky event (separate from his being/inner man). We are the temple/dwelling place/city/promised land of God...to perceive/see that in spirit and in truth is mind-blowing (pun intended)...
Though many say with their mouth that HE dwells in them, they still look to the sky (five senses perceiving, not spirit) for His arrival with His Kingdom. Jesus prayed in John 17 for that becoming one... That truth is what is being revealed/restored/reconciled inside (heart/mind/soul)...that being brought to remembrance is all that Adam lost sight of (spiritual separation from God...became afraid when he heard God's voice outside of himself for the first time after the fall)...God's glory.
To 'see' as Isaiah 6 is profound...
Amazing what the Spirit reveals...as promised...beyond what we (man) could ever imagine in mind...He changes our perspective/perception from looking to the sky/physical to within..."Christ IN YOU, the hope of glory"...what beauty to behold what only HE can reveal...I remember being at a Bible study on Ezekiel 37 taught by a former pastor who was a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary.
He taught that the "dry bones" were about the modern State of Israel.
After reading the text myself, it was clearly a reference to a bodily resurrection.
Then after I came to understand the Bible from a New Covenant perspective it became clear that the "covenant of peace" in the passage is the "everlasting covenant" from Hebrews 13:20.
I have been on the road to Emmaus for several years now.
Thank God that I have come to understand the truth of what Christ said in Luke 24:25-27.
The whole Old Testament is a book about Him.
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Thank you for your kind response.
