I'm having my morning coffee right now. The clock went back on it's own so it's an hour earlier than normal. It takes me a couple of days to adjust.

What's new? Are you doing OK? It's good to hear from you. God bless you Brinny.

Whooops!! I fergot to set the clocks back!!

i'm at the moment, just being still.....and breeeeeathing hahaaa

what kind of coffee are you drinking? the best i've ever had is percolated from a small percolator...

I lived in Italy for a long time so usually pick an Italian Coffee. The one I get through Amazon right now is called, Ferrara Expresso. I make it in a small stovetop expresso maker and then add steamed milk and sweetener. I never get tired of it.

It heats it and also adds some bubbles, like a cappuccino but I drink it in a tall mug. You know, I think I'm going to go back to bed for a little more sleep.

God bless everyone and I look forward to reading the thread later.

What's new? That would derail the thread and be long! Everything is new in my life right now. The Lord is doing many things, and...I feel like Abraham must've felt because He isn't telling me why, just do this do that...Lol. That's ok though because I trust Him.

Cheapo American Folgers for me again stirred with an Almond Joy candy bar, lol. Man whoever came up with almond joy flavored coffee creamer was a genius, I love this stuff!

But I think it's really the coconut I like. and I see in here people talking about using coconut water in their coffee and that has me wondering about trying something like that.

Hahaaaa i love that you put almond joy in your coffee!!! :D More recently i put this awwwwful hershey's candy in my coffee...it was coconut with almonds, BUT it was horribly overly faked coconut flavoring and i decided since it was inedible, to put it in coffee (i didn't have creamer) so i was gonna see what it tasted like. it was tolerable....so that was my "creamer" for coffee.

I've drank coconut water, and it's refreshing.....might try it in coffee...

Are you anxious about God directing you in this manner, and just telling you to "Go"?

I love chocolate of course, but I tried a couple of those Hersheys chocolate creamers that they give out in the gas stations and...Ugh, it was horrible.

I'm not anxious per se...just wondering where it's leading me to. The way I figure it, God's plan for people are all different, so everyone has a different upbringing, edumacation (lol), and experiences geared towards that plan of God...and my particular set of skills and experiences that I've acquired...seems, wow who knows what position that I will fill? I know one thing for sure...I don't wanna be the plumber again when I get to heaven!

So...press forward. I'm sure when it comes time that I will understand, and my skillset will be exactly what I need.

What came to mind for me when you mentioned Abraham, is Abraham's unflinching trust in God. Abraham BELIEVED God. This pleased God and blessed His heart so much, that THAT is why He called Abraham "friend".

Then there's Gideon, and when the Angel of the Lord came to him and called him a mighty man of valor, Gideon thought he was talking to someone else hahaaa

That's pretty much how I feel. I know He is in me and beside me and whatever He leads me into...it will be His will and accomplish what He wants. So I'm very content and have peace in my spirit amidst all that's going on...I just wonder what will happen today instead of plan what will happen.

That's a new way of walking around for me, lol...

Do you think it delights God that you are content and have peace in your spirit amidst all that is going on?

I previously posted here back in August that I drank Folgers Black Silk, brewed 'campfire style' on the stove in a simple pot that can then just be tossed into the dishwasher to clean, having gotten rid of my coffee-maker due to the maintenance (involving toxic cleaning chemicals) required of the latter.

I had since discovered that coffeemakers can be cleaned using (very digestible and therefore totally non-toxic) white vinegar, once a month, and so have gone back to using a coffeemaker. So glad I did!

So we're all trying to get closer to God and also have a good cup of coffee? These two aspirations are very important.

BTW, good morning and God bless everyone.

Hi David!!!!!

That's very heartening.....God bless the basics :)
