All in response to a request for 3 examples supporting this claim:Sure. Gen 1:21 shows that God created "every living creature that moveth" from Water, which is what scientists announced they had learned, last year. www.smithsonianmag.com/.../behold-luca-last-universal-common-ancestor-life-earth-...
Gen 1:8 and Gen 2:4 show that we live in a Multiverse composed of at least 3 Heavens/Universes. Physics equations (String Theory) AGREES and show that there are as many as eleven. There is evidence that we could have bumped into one of them. Mystery bright spots could be first glimpse of another universe
Gen 6:4 shows that Humans (descendants of Adam) and the sons of God (prehistoric people) CAN produce children together. This explains WHY today's Humans have the superior intelligence of God Gen 3:22 AND the DNA of prehistoric people (sons of God). It also explains who Noah's grandsons married since there were NO other Humans for them to marry and produce the 7.4 Billion Humans alive today. Amen?
No, that does not help your case. The vast majority of Christians have no issue with evolution. Unless your claim is that Christians who do not believe in special creation are doomed to hell? If not then the idea that the devil is involved in a vast conspiracy to perpetrate evolution is ridiculous.
The fact of the matter is that plenty of Christians have been wrong in their interpretation of the bible over the years. People were wrong about demons causing mental health issues. People were wrong about the heliocentric universe. People have been shown over and over again that their understanding of the bible is fallible since they are human.
So which is more likely rjs330? That Scientists, a lot of whom are Christian, have been duped for the past 150+ years even though the science works and is used daily? Or is it just possible that you might be mistaken?

No doubt you think we have been duped, but that does not excuse your misrepresentation of our position. I for one, trust Jesus and the Apostles in all they say.No Christians who discount Genesis are not going to hell. Christians who discount Genesis are not just discounting Genesis but are also discounting Jesus and the apostles as well as God's own words in Exodus. But trusting in God's own words in Exodus and Jesus and the apostles regarding Genesis is not required for salvation. But it does make people double minded. Trust what Jesus and that apostles say in some matters and not in others is not solid ground to stand on.

Yes people have been wrong about their interpretation, but that is precisely the problem. People who have interpreted the bible wring in the past have most often failed to align their theology with what the Bible actually says. Instead they make the Bible try to align with their theology. If you take scripture at face value you have a far less chance of having wrong theology which then translates into a faulty world view.
Yes scientists, including Christian ones who believe in evolution from a common ancestor have been duped.

No, I am quite prepared to believe everything Jesus had to say about Genesis. And I know for a fact that He never said anywhere in the Gospels that it was 100% accurate literal history.Except when it comes to Genesis.
Yes. The Bible is as clear as it can be on this subject. And it's not just me. You make it sound like I am some sort of lone wolf in this but I am not. Genesis has been trusted through the centuries as an accurate account of creation. And once again it is not an interpretation. It IS what the Bible says happened. To dismiss what it says and say it isn't accurate in what it says and that it means something else than what it says IS an interpretation. I merely believe what it says plain and simple no interpretation required. So I take it that is a "No, it is not possible for me to be wrong"? You have the %100 true interpretation of bible and therefore the overwhelming evidence that you are wrong is a giant conspiracy concocted by the devil?
Yes he did. When he brings up how man and woman was created and whenever he mentioned the OT prophets. He treated them all as real events. He never once hinted they were mere stories that we're not true. Same goes for the apostles. No, I am quite prepared to believe everything Jesus had to say about Genesis. And I know for a fact that He never said anywhere in the Gospels that it was 100% accurate literal history.
If you are referring to evolution then no because that is not reality. It's an assumption and a belief system.Granted, a Christian's theology should align with the Bible -- but shouldn't the Bible align with reality?
Let's see if I can follow the logic:Yes he did. When he brings up how man and woman was created and whenever he mentioned the OT prophets.
Cue the sound of goalposts moving. He treated them all as real events. He never once hinted they were mere stories that we're not true.

There is no overwhelming evidence. It is all assumption. As evolution from a common IS squarely set against what God says it is a product of the human mind which is set against God. To disbelieve and dismiss what God says is a clear representation of the ungodly mind of humanity who serve the devil in their ungodly ways. Christians can be duped by worldly ungodly influences. And many are.

Last I checked Husky mated with Husky and produced only Husky. Mastiff mated with Mastiff and produced only Mastiff. Only when the Husky mates with the Mastiff does a new variation (Chinook) enter the species.
