Confession. (1 John 1:9)
Confession to God or men...? If full disclosure, of the full true nature, of all human ugliness and depravity was put before all (men), even children, and especially children, then I think it would destroy us all...

But, then, that's exactly what is happening, isn't it...?

Think it will destroy us...?

You cannot do away with evil.
You can squash it in your own heart. With a new attitude of love towards others, perhaps your "light" can rub off. Dealing with your own evil tendencies is about the best we can do.

I see few results in legislating morality. Sweeping it under a rug doesn't help. Telling others that you think what they do is terrible and they need to stop it only earns you more haters.
Not saying we should not share the gospel, but if we approach sin and evil with condemnation, then we are really only adding more evil to the world.
Theres no silver bullet. This is the world we are in and thats the way it works.

The good news is that God will interrupt the world at some point and put a stop to it.

In my application, God seeing the afflictions of others has compassion, and I experience them in my own body, this includes their sins. When I confess them as my own and my own in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth this removes the ill effects. Then I invite the Holy Spirit to take the place of where the sin was. Still learning tho. love is definitely the way.

Sounds like your on the right track to me...

I feel others sins as if they were my own also, and have confessed them as my own, and they do not come up as much now, though still does sometimes...

I don't know how I feel about it sometimes, confessing others sins as my own, I've done it with everything multiple times now, so, when they come up again, or again later on, I will talk to God about it/them ASAP, but say that we've already been through and over this God, so why...? Do I have to do it all the time, every time, confess others sins as my own, just cause I feel somehow infected by it/them...

I don't get angry about it, but my confessing it every time all the time, as my own, is getting very tiring...

I wonder sometimes if it is my own though...? But, I just know that I know that I know, it's not... But it keeps happening and keeps coming up...

God Bless!

After observing what happens when people just leave their sins in public places and take no ownership of them, it's kind of like a form of spiritual garbage disposal. Yes, it is exhausting work, but sin is like a form of waste that makes people sick if it piles up too much in an area, so even if I was selfish about it ... what kind of world do I want to live in? How much of a mess can I truly tolerate?

"What is the best way to do away with evil...?" In our world, in ourselves...?

In our selves, to live as Christ like a life as we can, being ready to turn to God for help/strength/grace ti deal with temptation and returning to God humble when we fail.

In the world. We can't, all we can do is be an example, to witness to the world and to pray for revival.

Not something we can do our 'self', but God enlightens us to...Thou shalt not eat of it...and "Where art thou?", when we can answer that beyond a shadow of doubt, we 'see'/perceive (from) in a whole different light in relation to good and evil.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.

Christ is our example. When they arrested Him and accused Him, He never said a word. He never condemned them nor accused them of evil. He didn't call them sinners or reprobates, not a word of judging...while hanging on that cross He says "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." He was not eating from that forbidden tree...

A picture of this same truth, God's glory fills the whole earth. Everything there is, for there is nothing that has not come from Him...yet many judge and condemn the very things made by God...perception..."Where art thou?"

Full disclosure is required,
and the early believers rejoiced in the freedom from sin and from the consequences of sin,
and in sharing in the death and life and resurrection of Jesus !

Yes, it is devastating and embarrassing when someone see the sin in our own lives/ their own life/ and men...

But better to be devastated and embarrassed now in this life, instead of on judgment day...

Do away with evil? We didn't create evil. We have not the power to do away with evil.

God created evil. It is by Gods power, He shall do away with darkness, with evil.

Isa 45
[7] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

In the mean time -
we, who are physically alive, physically walk, surrounded, by evil, by darkness, by death.

And some of us -
who are physically walking about this earth, shadowed by the valley of death;

Have overcome evil, darkness, death, by accepting the Lords Spirit, His Light, His Power, His Comfort,
WITHIN US, to OVERCOME, the evil, darkness, death, and put away the FEARS we observe all around us, and thus walk in the Spirit, with God.

IOW - we are shadowed by what we physically observe; it hangs over us.
BUT - what consumes us, is within us; His Light, which OVER-COMES, what we physically observe.

Be of good cheer -
Gods WAY is perfect -
He has a plan to Supersede evil, darkness, death....with holiness, light, life.

God Bless,

Perception...Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

True. A man becomes responsible and held accountable for what he has revealed to him.

No excuses.

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

When the duality within ceases, the battle is won as One. To overcome the world is to have our eye single (again) - Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Paul said we see at first dimly in the glass the image being revealed, then face to face - know fully even as also I am known.

Perception/vantage point is key. The Day of God in creation week (before sun, moon and stars were even created) goes from Night (darkness) to morning (Light) which is a spiritual truth in perceiving as it relates to the question asked of Adam, "Where art thou?"
