7 churches from Revelation are not Christian churches.

Yes they are. Firstly, they are 7 specific churches in Asia Minor which were present at the time John wrote them. Secondly they apply to churches today.

Wording in those letters is foreign and often opposed to wording Paul used in his epistles.

Really? How?

The word "church" used in those letters is the same Koine Greek word that's used all over in Greek translation of Old Testament.

The word ἐκκλησία used in those letters is the same Koine Greek word that's used for "church" throughout the New Testament. It means "church."

Actually, Smyrna is just the name of a specific place (the city still exists, and is now called İzmir). I don't believe that the name has any hidden meaning.
All names have meanings. Regardless of the presented name - the letters transcend time and is why I believe the letters speak to our spiritual consciousness and state of mind. Not to particular places but to our Temple's place of being.

LOL, that is ridiculous. Why would letters be written to Jews that do not believe in Yeshua?

I posted a link to a book about it. It's too much information for posting on a thread.

The word ἐκκλησία used in those letters is the same Koine Greek word that's used for "church" throughout the New Testament. It means "church."

And that's the same word used all over Greek translation of Old Testament for Jewish assemblies and gatherings.

I don't think we're supposed to read the Bible that way. And the meaning of many names (like Ephesus) is uncertain anyway.

A pretty rubbishy book, if you ask me.

And that's the same word used all over Greek translation of Old Testament for Jewish assemblies and gatherings.

But that word is never used in the New Testament for a Jewish assembly.

The Revelation speaks of the sealing of 144,000-12,000 of every tribe of Israel. The letters are for them too. The grafted in Gentile Bride is not only the one who benefits from the letters.

No not uncertain. The bible can only be understood through the Holy Spirit, in this guidance is the bible properly read. The way that is?, is the way of truth.

Possibly the Holy Spirit is guiding me differently from the way you are being guided.

There are likely no Jews in those areas since Turkey is now mostly Muslim. A letter to Jerusalem would have had better results...

Where did you get the idea that those ones chosen out "of every tribe of Israel"
do not follow Yeshua ?

I do not view the letters in the same way you do. You see them as places, I see them as a state of being and place of mind frame.

I was wondering if the 7 churches that were addressed in Revelation correlated to 7 denominations of faith of today and if so which ones.

They don't. The seven churches were seven real, actual communities of Christians located in the province of Asia in what is today the country of Turkey. The Revelation is addressed to them.
