Then you have to assume you have a spiritual mother, and that our spiritual birth occured in the same way as our physical birth, too. Parables are only to be used to illustrate a certain point. For Jesus is not a physical shepherd here upon this Earth on a farm somewhere attending real physical sheep. Jesus does not have hinges like on a door. Yet, Jesus is called the door or the gate.

Because if you are to take being born again to be literal in the most extreme way so as to support Calvinism, then you need to do so for the other truths in relation to being born again.

Lying would fall under one being honest or not. Not revealing truth does not mean one is lying or being dishonest. Jesus said to the Pharisees that they are gods as a way of deflecting them away from the fact that He was saying that He was God. For Jesus had a mission to protect.

I think it has to do with the person on the other end not communicating their beliefs correctly or not. My misunderstanding on what people believe contrary to the standard 5 point Calvinism belief should be properly explained by my proponent I am talking with. It is not my responsibility to clarify what you and others believe.

It sounds like that is what you believe. This is what I always had in mind of what you and others believe here. If you or others do not believe that, then then they need to clarify that to me. I am not a mind reader. The standard belief of Calvinism is that they believe in all 5 points.

Here is the problem with this. You still are not saying.... "Yes, this is what I believe." You are making me assume that is what you believe when in reality it may not be. Before you seem to be upset that I was misrepresenting folks in regards to their belief on Calvinism. If you were included in that group, then I do not see how that is my fault for your lack (or others lack) of not communicating to me properly what you or others believe in regards to the standard 5 point Calvinistic belief.

You also had to use different words as if to throw me off from Unconditional Election and or Limited Atonement. You gave me different words for your belief making me think it was different. For if they are the same, then all you had to do is say,

"Yes... I believe in Unconditional Election and Limited Atonement."

But you did not do that. What do you have to hide? Why are you being so mysterious about what you believe? Tell it to me straight.
