All great men. The liberals and other haters could learn a lot from these great men. Men who in the past made mistakes but changed their ways. Too bad the communist groups won't do the same thing. Instead they are burning cars, killing police, attacking innocent people because of the color of their skin, murdering and calling for the death of all whites including their babies.

At least it didn't get violent. I've been tracking the Alt-Right fringes here and there, I have held the hope that their numbers are slight enough that they would be insignificant. I don't support the GOP but have come to respect some of the old school conservatives. I didn't like the Tea Party but understood what they were trying to do. Breitbart, Steve Bannon and the Alt-Right seemed a bit unhinged but I wasn't really all that worried about it. Every now and then I will look into it and I'm rather disturbed by what I see, I can't even post some of what I'm finding.

This just worries me and I'm not sure what to make of it.

Looks like you spoke too soon - someone drove a car through a group of the anti-protestors as they were leaving the area after having been dispersed by the cops. At least one person is dead, 26 or more wounded in this (terror - we all know if this had happened to the white supremacists they'd be declaring it, so let's not mince words) attack on counter-protestors. We have not gone back to the 60's, when it was acceptable to be racist. What we have, is a much smaller minority of people, who are acting out of fear, because their lifestyle is threatened.

I don't think the Neo-Nazi protesters are the ones inciting the violence. I think they're morally repugnant but that doesn't justify driving a car into a crowd. If we are going to condemn violence lets do it on both sides of the protest.

I'll never forget the only protest I actually seen, the KKK got a permit to assemble on the State House stairs in Indianapolis. I was going to the library but couldn't help being curious. The protesters were flying the bird like a flag and the crowd was outnumbered by the state police, Indiana has no patience for violence at one of these things. Ben Franklin once said that a fool should be encouraged to speak because if he remains silent he is considered wise, apparently basing his insight on Proverbs 17:28. My heart foes out the the people of Charlottesville as then endure this senseless violence in their otherwise peaceful city.

You and a bunch of your buddies swarm the car, trying to get at whoever is inside? Can't say whether that's what happened, but it's certainly one way to get someone panicked enough to do that.
