What a strange reason. There have also been thieves who have and do serve in the military. What's your point?Since there have been several transgender soldiers who have already served, I have no problem with them serving.

LOL. GOOD one.....in a stand up routine.I think we could use all the help we can get in the military. If some future war happens and we lose because they had transgenders in their military and we didn't thats kind of a big deal.
According to the Bible, eating shellfish is also an abomination. And according to the Bible, women who are caught in the act of adultery are to be stoned to death and witches should be killed (do not suffer a witch to live). Lying is also an abomination to God, but I'm not seeing any moral outrage or a public outcry from conservative Christians over that one. I guess it's easier for them to be complacent and overlook a sin that they would be guilty of committing themselves. Like the old saying goes, "Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones." There's a lot of cherry picking scripture going on.
I do not care about the Bible on this subject.
In what imaginary universe does accommodating an unbiblical philosophy (transgenderism) not cause problems? There have always been transgender people in the military, and it hasn't caused any problems until people wanted them to stop serving.
Uh, maybe because money is not the only major issue? Trump must be circumspect in his reasons for disallowing so called "transgenders" in the military because there are so many blind and misguided individuals in the US that actually believe transgenderism should be accommodated in the military and elsewhere. Not really, if the point is to save money why not start with the "big ticket" items first?

The "scholarship" you have been relying on is written by a bunch of carnal, liberal theologians. Now go back to the books and read the conservative commentaries.A lot of scholarship I've read from all perspectives on that verse tend to accept that it's talking about crossdressing for deceitful purposes like soldiers dressing as women to enter a city undetected, pagan practices, and other such things common practices in the Ancient Near East, not transgender people.
I'm not seeing any moral outrage and public outcry against pornography from conservative Christians either....
The president as commander in chief, understands what the military leadership wants better than you do...
...and the reason why the ban hasn't been enforced is because Trump hasn't issued it; he has merely stated his intention to do so.
Well, the way I see it is that there are consequences for breaking the law, including anti-discrimination laws. There can even be severe consequences for breaking the law and that includes anti-discrimination laws. Despite what seems to be a popular belief among conservative Christian circles, Christians living in America are not above the laws of this country and they aren't entitled to discriminate at will against homosexuals (LGBT) or anyone else they might find unfavorable or whose lifestyle they may disagree with religiously. If some Christians are willing to violate anti-discrimination laws because of their religious convictions then they should be willing to accept any consequences for their actions. Christians should be held accountable and held to the same standard as non-Christians concerning obeying the laws.
Anti-discrimination laws were put in place for a reason to protect LGBT people and other marginalized groups of people from being discriminated against in this country. LGBT people don't deserve to be discriminated against or held with contempt because of their sexual orientation. And if Christians own a public business (that normally accommodates the public as it should), but find themselves unable to accommodate homosexuals (LGBT) because it conflicts with their conscience and religious beliefs, then they should seriously consider seeking some kind of private or religious occupation instead.
They have in the past at different times, and maybe different contries.
INcluding children 6 to 8 years old in some countries in the last 75 years, and of course before then.
You know you can help people's souls by allowing them into the military. The key to helping people is not excluding, but also fighting with them and getting them to understand.
In defense of Viagra: Sometimes erectile dysfunction occurs as a result of PTSD. This can be very upsetting and disruptive to the lives of veterans as they try to recover from trauma and move on with their lives, have families, and share intimacy with their wives.
That's my contribution lol.
It might have a lot more to do with the topic than most anyone realizes. That has nothing to do with this discussion.
Maybe you're joking, but according to that line of reasoning, so called "transgenders" should be allowed to be members of all America's institutions, and beyond that...school teachers, political offices, etc.You know you can help people's souls by allowing them into the military. The key to helping people is not excluding, but also fighting with them and getting them to understand.

True. And good point.I'd point out, btw, that there are no federal anti-discrimination laws that cover sexuality.
