You seem to think that somewhere in scripture it states that all righteous acts can be cancelled out be unrighteousness ones.
That's not in scripture.
I thought this was about the wedding and the wedding garments. Why are you trying to change what we are discussing?
The opposite of what Paul did in Athens is what the mainline churches do. They tell you salvation is from Hell. Then they give you the solution. You're never going to know what the problem is. You are at the wrong seminar/fellowship.
Blind leading the blind.
Those who don't know the problem is hacking, don't search for a hacking prevention solution.
How are you going to be cured if you don't know what the illness is?
So what are we saved from? (And no, I don't think we are saved from hell)
Sin, or their unrighteous acts.
And why do we need to be saved from that? What happens if we aren't?
Of couse not.So, will you be cast out with your unrighteous acts?
Now that I've reminded you of the discussion, what happens if we aren't saved from sin?
Can righteous acts be cancelled out by unrighteous acts?Maybe you should try righteous acts and removing your unrighteous ones. It is those who practice righteousness who are righteous, just as He is.
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
I'm wondering what your answer to the question is. So yes.Do I really have to tell someone who supposedly is born again the answer?
Can righteous acts be cancelled out by unrighteous acts?
Once again, can righteous acts be cancelled out by unrighteous acts? Will a little leaven, leaven the whole lump?
He will only clothe you with your righteous acts. You keep leaving this out.
For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
Once again, can righteous acts be cancelled out by unrighteous acts?
Are you relying on your righteous acts to save you?
It was going just fine until that incoherent post came along.
You still aren't answering the question. It's a simple yes or no. If you'd like to expound upon it further after that, then okay. But please be clear.Once again, do you not know a little leaven will leaven the whole lump?
