I stopped watching the video, Bill Nye Destroys Common Sense, :) when Nye said, the fact that an extra large number of animals weren't found at a high level due to animals all swimming up towards higher ground to saftey, are not there, is evidence there was no flood.

Like I always say, a bunch of non evidence does not equate to a pittance of actual evidence.

It amazes me someone supposedly so smart can't see how easily that falls apart.

I hear a report of a nuclear explosion. I visit the scene and find no evidence of it, in fact all the buildings are still standing, so I conclude the explosion never happened.

Tell that to the YECs who regularly bring it up.
As I said, I disagree with both sides.

And this land bridge point that's coming up in the video can take a hike.

Oookay, and that has what to do with what?

If X is observed, and X is incompatible with Y happening in the past, then it can reasonably be concluded that Y never happened.

The world wide flood is easy, plenty of evidence for it. Sea shells found on top of mount Everest, that is irrefutable conclusive evidence.

Bill Nye the $cience shill and Ken Scam are both actors.

Oh come come, the water would have flowed off the edge of the flat Earth.

It would have taken more than 5 additional vertical miles of water to cover the Earth. That would do far worse damage than a nuclear explosion and yet we see no evidence that this ever happened.

How do you explain that?

Nope, you are merely misinterpreting clear evidence against a worldwide flood.

Noah’s Ark

Genesis 7:16. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.

Noah took ALL that was COMMANDED of him. Not all of the creatures needed to be on the Ark.

Of course that means seven pairs of the clean animals and one pair of the unclean ones.

You Atheist think in natural terms without giving any thought to the super natural.

And yet the whole thing is supernatural; the universe, earth, life, etc. The laws of physics hold the whole thing together, but the lawgiver, God, can interrupt any time he wishes.

At 00:48, Mr. Nye says you would expect drowning animals to 'swim up to a higher level.'

What does that even mean?

What kind of turbulence would be created by spinning a basketball inside of a large aquarium at 1000 rpm?

The earth, encased in a ball of water, is turning at just that speed.

Imagine what it would look like from space?

What!? How would that water stay up? What does your post even mean?

All that and you never even bothered to question exactly what Nye is claiming?

Problem is, X is nonsense in this case. I'd suggest you take even the slightest look at what you're defending and see the holes in it before you continue.

Here's a groovy video I found that talks about Noah's Ark, which happens to be my minor forté.

So I though I'd post it and then pick it apart over time; but not necessarily in chronological order.

The first thing I would like to point out is that Noah's Ark is not a boat, it is an ark.

A containment vessel.

Calling it a boat or a ship shows a disrespect for its true identity.

More later.

Very poor presentation by Nye. Not a single valid argument against the ark or the flood.
