You have grace because you break the law. Know the definition of both and it will make sense. There is no where in the bible that said all the commandments of God were abolished and now replaced by grace. If you have no commands to keep, why do you need Grace to repent when you sin.

And ask yourself a question, if all we have is grace know, grace from what? We are still expected to repent and turn from our sins.

Shalom All, has anyone ever learned about the Grace of Elohim? Or how about Righteousness, and how it is a Free Gift? Can anyone explain the "mechanics" of Grace and the Free Gift of Righteousness? How does it work? Do we punish the innocent and righteous in place of the wicked? What do you think this Scripture means:

Exodus 23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the Innocent and Righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

Zero commandments need to be kept by believers in Christ who are led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides us and teaches us right from wrong about a thousand times better than the law ever could. The law could not make one sinner righteous and it could not forgive one single sin. The law is abolished for believers in Christ.

But, Colossians said that Jesus was the substance of that celebration. So in what way did the new moon symbolize Jesus? (This isn't a trick question - I don't have an answer and would like to know.) I'll get on a Messianic forum - maybe they know.

Num 10:10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

What is the day of gladness?

Pro 10:28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

I believe the bible makers added something to the scripture to their own damnation. Paul was saying that the Church has the authority to judge the matters concerning the holy days, the Sabbath, and the new moon, as was spoken; what you bind on earth is bound in heaven. If you look at the scripture:

is does not belong in the scripture

Everyone has die for their own sin. God does not punish the innocent for the unrighteous. Christ was crucified not for you but because of your sins, otherwise keep sinning so you can receive more grace. Does that sound right?

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Your death in Christ is because of your sin. If you can hear listen:

Christ death on the cross was to fulfill this act of grace that the requirement of the law is that all sinners are commanded to have a sin offering for their sin. This sacrifice is the free gift of righteousness, in that Christ died because of sin so that all sinners could be made righteous in HIM. If you understand this,

I can see Jesus as the substance of the Sabbath and the feasts, but I'm clueless as to how the new moon is a representation of Jesus?
