I recently accepted that Jesus the Christ was in fact middle eastern and not Caucasian like the pictures that some churches have of Jesus. Which leads me to the study of my origins as a white person.

Then I was reading in the Human article on wikipedia Human - Wikipedia and I saw under the illustration slightly down on the page the "human timeline" that homoerectus or homohabilis migrated from Africa.

So if I am to accept some sort of mixture between creationism and evolution, than also does that illustration mean that all humans are from Africa also? So that although I'm not African my ancestors are from Africa at some point?

Can't tell you what to think...but I always thought it was funny to see paintings of Jesus (a 2000 year old Jew) that looked like Dennis Wilson from the Beach Boys.

Remember that if we accept the account of Adam and Eve being the first humans, it is likely that all of what you are referring to takes place much later.

Depends how far back you want to go. Biblically-speaking, people initially settled in the land of Shinar, in modern day Iraq, after the flood, and then dispersed from there.

No, They don't. And there's no evidence of Jesus being black. It's only a theory. What if Marry and Joseph's families came from Europe? There must clearly be a reason, Why the Holy Spirit gives artists a vision of a white Jesus.

This black Jesus theory has no real evidence.

Or what if Jesus the Christ is appearing in vision to people to represent whom they need to treat like they would treat Jesus as? I'm not saying that's the truth because I don't know. But what if he appears in paintings like a beach boy for a reason?

Are you saying that we should only care about pretty boys and not about black and ugly people? Cause that's surely not what Jesus wants.

Yeah I guess it makes little sense after you mention it. I stand corrected, I guess I was thinking that the artist may have had some need to treat someone in a certain way for some reason, but I really have no idea. Thanks for clarifying that.

The fossil evidence indicates that hominids evolved in east-central Africa over several million years. Homo-erectus left Africa well over a million years ago and evolved into the Neandertal and Denisovian people of Eurasia. Meanwhile back in Africa Homo-erectus evolved in Homo-sapiens and were anatomically modern humans by about 200,000 YBP. Some of this population migrated out of Africa about 60,000 to 80,000 YBP and proceeded to displace Neandertals but not before some genetic mixing took place. Were the early modern humans black? Since they evolved in equatorial Africa, probably. Is colour of any importance at all? Not a bit. What does this mean for the Bible? Just that the several creation stories in the Bible should be regarded as symbolic and not literal.

Interesting that we all evolved differently and have similar and equal IQ's and strengths and such. Like it was steered to be equal somehow in the God and evolution schemes, that we have equality among Europeans, Asians, Africans, Middle Easterners, Etc. I guess I find that interesting, coming from different mixtures and such.

'Out of Africa' does not necessarily mean negroid. It is very possible that the first humans were light skin, and dark skin was an adaptation to the loss of hair.
One indication that this may be so is that the skin of the hands and feet of negroids is often much paler, and the skin of caucasians is a more uniform tone. Also the skin tone of our closest primate relatives tends to be light toned underneath all that protective hair.
The various caucasian people have wide variations in skin tone too. Indian subcontinent often have very dark skin tones, and yet they are still part of the genetic subset known as caucasian.

Why do we assume that the first humans were dark-skinned?

The people of the MiddleEast are Aryan. The people of Persia, Assyria, Lebanon, Arabia and so on are not black, definitely not negroid.
As for fairytales about the evolution of humans from apes or whatever is simply rubbish. Evolution is the religion of unbelievers.

Jesus created human beings, male and female, on the sixth day [period of time]. He created them out of nothing and they are
the people of the first creation. The main racial groups of origin: Negro, Indian Aryan, Euro-Aryan, Chinese, (Maya, Aztecs, Indians
of the Americas). Thus the first humans were hunters and gatherers of the stone age, with knowledge and awareness of a
Supreme Creator [ often referred to in religious and creation stories].

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:
and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
Genesis 1:26-28
Let us make > H6213 > to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application > accomplish, become, bring forth ...
So God created > H1254 > (absolutely) to create; (as formative processes) ...

Then after this God rested from His work - could be for a period of some 40,000 years.
In the meantime things were happening spiritually between good and evil. At some point Lucifer was stirring up rebellion and angels
were trespassing. Genesis 2 is a separate and different story of purpose from Genesis 1.

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.
8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
Genesis 2:7-8
Formed man of the dust > H333 > through the squeezing into shape; to mould into a form; especially as a potter; ...

Adam and Eve were in effect the first Church. Consecrated, son and daughter of God, innocent without sin, separated from the
rest of humankind. Walking and interacting with God. Having a personal relationship with their Creator.
All the hallmarks of the future Children of Israel and the Spirit-filled Church.

Jesus and the people of the Middle-East are Euro-Aryan or Caucasian as all the people west of India and north of Africa are.
There is sufficient archaeology of statues, sculptured reliefs, paintings and the like to show us the racial features of the peoples
of the Middle East from Persia to Syria to Turkey to Europe.
They were not black. They were not Indian nor Chinese.
And Ashkenazim Jews are mostly Caucasian.

Shroud Turin.jpg

This is most likely the true face of Jesus Christ - the miraculous imagery on the Shroud of Turin.
The face is Caucasian, or Euro-Aryan - definitely not Negroid, nor Indian, not Chinese, not Aztec...

That is a good likeness of Jaques DeMolay, the last Grandmaster of the Knights Templar who was arrested, tortured and crucified on a door. But then again, maybe not.

PS --- I refer to the face on the Shroud of Turin
