  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I got a vision that I weighed to be true that I am indeed meant to be a deliverance minister. Next year, I am to take the subject of demons very seriously, or at least start to. I am to become a member of a Pentecostal church.

You may think I'm just being crazy, but I have witnesses to that which I say.

Some thoughts:

- Despite God leading me, I am scared of the road ahead.
- I struggle with loneliness all the time right now, despite having an adequate amount of friends.
- I was delivered myself, which gave me righteous anger against that which is foul.

I thought you were going to say that you were going to study demonology. Thank God, that is not the case.

The only thing I'm going to do for now regarding the matter, is listen to Derek Prince.

It is good that you have this passion, and I am sure God will help you move into this ministry. Just be aware that in order to enter a ministry you will be tested. God needs to ensure that we will not fall under pressure. Strengthen yourself against all sin, strive not to partake in any sin, and you will succeed.

The bible says "Let the one who believe that he stands strong, think soberly least he fall into sin". - essentaually it means, we often feel unbeatable, but when in this state, we need to be watchful least we fall into sin.

Ultimately it is the Light that overcomes darkness. The Light doesn't need to understand the darkness, it just needs to know when and where to shine. Study the Word and be obedient, and the Holy Spirit will reveal everything you need to know to you. I've read a Derek Prince book and it wasn't bad, but in the end your faith in God through the Spirit's revelation of Scripture is far more important. Greater than receiving understanding is going through the things that God causes and allows that produce the fruit of humility and love. With enough humility and faith, a child's understanding is all that is needed to be a deliverance minister.

That's good that you know. Do you have a mentor or will your church be able to help? ("Furthermore, He gave some people as emissaries, some as prophets, some as proclaimers of the Good News, and some as shepherds and teachers. 12 Their task is to equip God’s people for the work of service that builds the body of the Messiah," Eph 4:11-12)

In your studies, you'll need to include "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation." Matt 12:43-45.

Great, when your deliverance ministry starts will you help get the tormentor out of my life?
