Where does it talk about the BoM or Smith in the bible?
I could give you a very detailed answer to this but I'll try and keep it short;
It begins with in the blessing given to Joseph of Egypt and how his blessings are going to prevail about the blessings of his fathers how his daughters or branches would go over the wall or beyond the boarders of Israel to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills. As he was separated from his brothers so would some of his branches also be separated, see Gen 49
and then with Moses prophesying about the scattering of Israel in Deut 4 "And the Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you"
And then with the prophecy given to Ezekiel in chapter 37 where he sees the gathering of Israel as a day of resurrection and they are brought to their own land, they went out from it and are brought back to it. And then the Lord tells him
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, andwrite upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 ¶And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 ¶And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
The word stick there is a 'ets' in the Hebrew and means wood. You the reader are suppose to know what kind of ets the scriptures are talking about be the content of the passage. If I am digging up earth with an ets then it's a plow. If I eat fruit off of an ets then it is a tree.
In this case the ets is being written on. When Zacharias called for a writing tablet to write the name of John he would have been writing on an ets. It was a tablet made of wood with wax inside of it to make the markings on, as long as it didn't get to warm there were okay. The tablets could be hooked together into one book.
We are declaring that the Book of Mormon fulfills this prophecy, we have the writings of Judah in the Old and New Testament, (Jesus was of the tribe of Judah). The Book of Mormon are the writings of men who were descendants of Joseph. These two books are now one in our hand.
In Isa 29 it speaks of a book
" which
men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
There was a 'learned' man which Martin Harris took some of the writings to explaining the situation of part of the book being sealed and the man said I can not read a sealed book. (it's a longer story than that)
Joseph Smith is the man 'not learned' and must have read the book because it says "And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness."
Revelation 14:6
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
This is the angel Moroni with the Book of Mormon with the everlasting gospel to preach to the world.
Peter prophesied of “restitution of all things”
Acts 3 Peter said;
19 ¶Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
We believe this is a prophecy about Joseph Smith and the restored Church. The second coming of Christ would not happen until there was this restitution.
In Act 1 there is another prophecy;
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
This happened in the spring of 1820 when Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith.
“I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.
……When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!” Joseph Smith
There is another point, we feel we are the gathering of Israel. Each person who is becomes a member of the Church is either a direct descendant of the house of Israel or is part of the adoption of the Gentiles.
Isa 54
"2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 ¶No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
This is directly about Joseph Smith and his instrument or the Book of Mormon. They "gathered together" against Joseph and the early Mormons. The Mormon people were brought west into the utmost bounds of the lasting hills far from the oppression. There is no weapon which can destroy this Church because it was established by Jesus Christ. Our tent or the tents of Israel have been enlarged and the Stakes have been established throughout the world.
There are more passages I could give you but I think this is enough.
