CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My sleep schedule has gotten messed up big time over break bc I stay up late sleep in late. I'm going to have go back to getting up when it's dark & cold soon. That's what I'm thinking about. But for now I'm still free so I'm happy.

OMM: Just thinking of the Kingdom of Heaven. Here thinking to myself "Wow, you're actually going to go one day..." and the joy is immense. I can't even begin to picture it all, what it will be like. I get in this mode of thinking from time to time. Jesus actually commanded us to rejoice because our names are written in heaven... Luke 10:20 ...what a great commandment to give us.

I decided to organize some fellows at work. We were playing too much ping pong, and wasting exorbitant amounts of time, so I challenged them to actually build something. The plan was simple: come up with some idea, any idea, implement it, and get noticed by management in the process. So we stole a wide screen tv, parked it in the lounge, and proceeded to build. Exactly what it is we are building is not known exactly, but that's not the important thing as the next thing we knew, one of the chief engineers took notice and assigned our little group the responsibility of organizing a tech demo at our next luncheon meeting. We now have two weeks to prepare to make fools of ourselves in front of the entire company.
Mission accomplished, with a strong possibility that this all will end in a horrible disaster.
