Moses and Elijah appeared to John and Peter and jesus on a mountain. Jesus confirmed Abraham was still alive also, and said He is not a God of the dead but the living. John also saw heaven opened, and many prophets saw angels etc etc.

It's just a method for learning about the physical world. It's like plumbing. It has nothing to do with theology, and theology can't tell you how to repair your pipes.

Micro evolution is evolution within a species. Macroevolution is speciation.
