Can someone please explain why, if you buy a glucose tester (my Dad is diabetic), that the cashier has to verify that you are over 18? This isn't really a rant as much as confused question.

Have you ever been in a situation where you know things about people because of circumstances you didn't ask for, and you just want to confess the truth of a matter for your own sake, but you can't ever allow yourself, because that's not who you are and you would never betray a friend? I hate situations like that, but, in retrospect it's so much better to live with one's self having a clean conscience.

Also, while the name sounds familiar, I don't really have any idea about who dmpeace is or what he's done. I looked him up, and I can understand why there may be suspicions. To me it looks like he could have been trying to mimic me, like other trollish posters I've encountered here, although it's obvious that he simply lacks the intelligence to pull it off, and embarrassingly so. If I'm going to be trolled, can't I at least get a quality troll?

It's so frustrating when a few bad apples ruin the whole bunch. Why would anyone feel the need to hold years of information on people who are just looking for a safe place to connect with people who share their values? Do they really find no other value in life than trying to intimidate people with their obsessive knowledge? Not sure if I should be sad, angry, or disturbed.

It's so frustrating when a few bad apples ruin the whole bunch. Why would anyone feel the need to hold years of information on people who are just looking for a safe place to connect with people who share their values? Do they really find no other value in life than trying to intimidate people with their obsessive knowledge? Not sure if I should be sad, angry, or disturbed.

It's because those bad apples have deeply rooted psychological issues, with a plethora of emotional and circumstantial traumas, and feel the need to take it all out on everybody else in an attempt to make other people feel as miserable as they do. It's their way of levelling the playing field. And making it all 'fair'.

What they should be doing is leaning on God, and NOT feeding the toxic crap inside of them that leads them to do and say such disturbing things.

I'm not an expert, nor do I need to be. It's just the way it's always been. Damaged people that continuously hand down the misery. It's how abusive relationships work and often how behaviours like animal cruelty come about . It's all traceable.

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't always so predicable and boring. I've barely had to do anything this time, he's done all the leg work for me.

I'm rather depressed with the lack of creativity and effort to be honest.
