I got this in my e-mail, don't care much for these forums. I also don't know your understanding of authority in Christ Jesus. I will tell you though that supernatural things happen to everyone, most pass it off for a reasonable explanation, some like the women in Indiana even had the sheriff verify the house had demonic activity occur. To get the police department to notice and agree and get it on film is rare. To get it covered by a "REAL" news team is even more rare.

For the rest of us though, devils should not be a concern. The last time I was bothered by one physically, a black shape came, while I was awake and had the nerve to sit on my legs as I was laying in bed. I don't know what this thing could have been eating, being a stupid devil, but it was heavy. Devils can change all manner of physical things, including their weight I suppose. I was really miffed that some disobedient spirit had the nerve to even pull something like this. It's so rare, or should be.

I told it, you have but 1.5 seconds to get off me, else I invoke the name of Jesus, and your going to look like a complete failure in whatever your here to do. BAM, it left quickly.

I also have a scare on my nose from years back while trying to help a brother in the Lord from a hindering and worthless devil.

Submit to God, resist the devil.

Rebuking them over and over tells them you have no faith and so they stay, having any fear of something you already know is around us, operating constantly with people and through people though we can't see them is pretty silly.

Fear and obeying what they want, (Sin, fear of things which is sin so on) is what they operate on, As God operates by Faith, and obedience to Him and His Word.

It's also a bit worrying that you should keep a 'stun gun' in your room? What sort of weapon is it?

The reason I bought a stun gun is because I have been repeatedly threatened with violence by men who are both younger and physically bigger than I am. I personally don't go around threatening anyone in that way. However, I don't think that I am supposed to allow people to beat me up simply because they feel they can get away with it. I have a responsibility to defend myself to the best of my ability if such an attempt is made. If indeed that offends other Christians then so be it.

If indeed there is skepticism about what I described then so be it as well. Perhaps I should have kept the whole thing to myself.

I am having things disappear and reappear in my apartment in a seeming effort to frustrate me.
I would greatly appreciate some divine intervention! I had assumed it was thievery by neighbors but this morning I realized that it is not since the object MAGICALLY was placed on a counter I had searched for previously. Photographs and cds are also being removed. Why is this allowed? If I believed in Ghosts I would blame a ghost but I do not. In any case the question of why it is being allowed to cause me extreme anguish remains valid.

Because I specifically and meticulously examined that counter yesterday repeatedly searching for that item and my memory, as is evident from my ability to play chess and beat most strong players I encounter isn't an issue. Neither have I been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's or any other memory-deficient condition. All my affairs are in order and I handle them normally and with no difficulty whatsoever. So your suggestion doesn't apply. The way I handle language ad concepts should indicate that my mind is 100% since language is the first things that begins to go for people in the pathological condition you suggest.

Interlopers? Yes. If I had not been home and if a door locking doorknob device which makes entry impossible while I slept had not been in place then I might have considered interlopers. However, the only way in is through a second story window via a long ladder at night that would have awakened me since I am a very light sleeper and getting through that extremely narrow widow which is near my bedroom would have awakened me. . Furthermore, who is going to go through all that trouble of setting up a latter late at night simply to return a stolen item to frustrate me? My photos of my kids are gone as well and all other photos are left intact. Why the uncanny choosing of photos? It doesn't add up unless the supernatural is considered.

Two things were taken and suddenly reappeared in locations that I had previously gone over numerous times. One was a music CD and the most recent and very disturbingly obvious was my stun gun which was returned while I slept. Taking photos to confirm what I once merely suspected and had glibly dismissed but which now I know for a certainty will only serve to make me feel more ill at ease.

I was under demonic attack a year and a half ago immediately after the Lord delivered me and called me from being backslid. I was sold out to the Lord overnight and they were not happy. I took authority in Jesus' name each time they manifested and they had to obey. It was super simple. I had to resist them in my dreams as they tormented and raped me, I had to rebuke them from my house, primarily the "burnt man" and some shadow types, for two weeks they knocked on my door three times between the hours of 3am-4am, I resisted and they fled. Then they went for my two sons. My three-year-old was being eviscerated by bears in his dreams and my oldest was being strangled by a dead tree until I taught them to rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ. The house is continually annointed now and filled with the Holy Spirit.

They have free will and God allows them to test us so that He may strengthen us and build our faith in Him.

I have no doubt in God's ability to provide assistance. Why he did not prevent this from occurring I don't know. Perhaps I never will until and if I am ever given the chance to ask him personally. Thanks for the encouraging words. God Bless!

I hope I can help. I have been in deliverance and spiritual warfare since 1980. I have exorcised some homes where manifestations were happening.

In the first place, make sure you do not have any objects that may be abominations to the Lord. These could be drug items, mementos from countries where witchcraft is practiced, occult books, idols, etc. If you do, the best thing is to burn them. Things that do not burn easily should be destroyed.

Another thing could be that somebody in the occult sent you a curse with a demon to bother you, in this case the curse must be broken in the name of Jesus and the demon commanded to leave because it does not have a legal right to be in your home any longer.

The next step: get some fresh olive oil and pour a little in a small cup. Do not use anointing oil from the Bible store or from any other source. I pray over my oil for the specific task I am going to do: deliverance, healing or exorcism of inanimate objects, such as furniture, clothing or homes.

Pray for the oil telling the Father what you want to do with the oil, asking Him to make a powerful oil for (whatever you intend to do). Contrary to popular belief, do not anoint doors and windows. (This is based on the first passover, but the angel of death was not inside the home, it was outside) Now go to the dark places of your home, where the light does not reach, such as drawers, cupboards, closets, under the bed etc. Dip your finger in oil and touch the dark area and command the demons there to leave in the name of Jesus and never come back. Take your time, do this one by one. If you have any antique furniture or second hand items, might as well do it to those too.
