I wonder what it's like to live or have a vacation in Japan-not just one part of it, but different parts/different cities.

The J-Vloggers that I'm currently subscribed to on YouTube allow me the privilege to see the different events that take place, the food, culture, mannerisms, rules, fashion, tourist spots, local spots that are just so inviting and attractive. I totally want to visit some day, God-willing.

I would LOVE to see Japan. Id love to take part in the culture and all..... but not the food..... and not some of the weird bits of the culture.... but the more classic culture....

Not the weird, old men dressed up like sailor moon type stuff.

If I EVER get to that side of the world..... hopefully I will have several grand sitting around doing nothing so I can buy a true Japanese crafted blade.

Oh geez, yeah that would be a tad disturbing to see. I hope such occurrences are ..very rare. Lol. I have heard of some bizarre stories and stuff but generally it should be a pretty awesome experience. Why not the food?

My Stepfather has been to Japan to build houses. Things are so expensive there that it's cheaper to hire Canadians, bring them over to Japan to build houses using Canadian raw materials, pay them while paying for their food and lodgings, and send then them back to Canada rather than hire their own people to do it. He made good money from it.

I would like to join you there but I have some safety concerns. I'm afraid of bleeding to death from a fatal nosebleed...

Im REALLY not a fan of seafood as it is and Im a picky eater with things I DO like... so there is no way I would EVER eat squid, sushi.. etc.

The culture fascinates me but I will stick with my burgers, sammiches and tacos.

I can partake in the culture, but my tongue remains American.

Why do people keep calling us a Democracy when we are not a Democracy. The United States of America is a Republic. We the people do not vote on most of our laws but we vote for people to go and vote for us.

We do not want a majority or mob rule system. Our founding fathers spent lots of time in prayer asking what is the best way and God gave them this system. Our government is loosely based on the old English Methodist governing body and it works better than any system ever produced. Our system is not broke but the people are. Instead of reading the Bible in the evening like people of the past did we are setting in the living room watching honey boo boo and Gas Monkey Garage.

Our system reflexs the morals of the people and that is why our pool to vote from is so worthelss because that is where our morals are at.

No, our system is not broke. It is the greatest system to ever be on earth and the reason all the world wants to be like us. The problem with our country is the people no longer are one and we no longer share the same basic beliefs like most all Americans did in the past.

Yup.
Constitutional Republic.
We the people turning from God is the problem.
I do need to gain more knowledge about our system though, I'm embarrassed and it's important. Especially the further we get away from our birth as a nation. I think it's safe to say we've forgotten where we came from. I did listen to the Declaration of Independence the other day, something simple but I recommend giving it a quick listen next time you drive somewhere.

I totally want to visit some day, God-willing.

Texas is MUCH more viable for an option to be its on nation and it went no where when Obama was elected. Cali wont go anywhere either.

The federal government wouldn't allow it:

Cali would collapse meaning it would have to bail Cali out and take it back into the union again making it a waste of time.

Because having a failed "country" in place of Cali leaves the door open for an ACTUAL country like Russia or China to settle in....(With funding/resources etc.. giving them a REAL foothold and soldiers on the ground..) making it a VERY real threat. Cali has resources etc, but for the most part they do not tap into them (meaning it would take time before they could even TRY to be self reliant.... which I suspect that given separation from the union they would collapse before the got the infrastructure in place)

The same reason Mexico and Canada have nothing to fear from other nations causing problems... because they know that we.... to our best ability will not allow that to happen.

A strategical fact that becomes less and less meaningful as America is replaced as "THE" superpower.

It wasn't long ago that much (I believe) of Cali was in financial troubles AND they had energy crisis..... I don't believe they could stand alone TBH. They have the resources..... but because they seem to afraid to upset environmentalist..... they refuse to tap most of them.

If they left the union, I doubt they could get the infrastructure in place to be a nation and thrive in time.

On my mind is community college. I just got accepted into one (not hard to do, you just apply without any credentials necessary besides gr.12 or equivalent haha). Just got my email. It's an IT college, very credible, and it's a 2 year course in computer programming. What's exciting is it's a brand new course, before it was just an IT course with the option of concentration in programming later on in the course. Now it's just straight computer programming for 2 years, which is what I would want if I went that route. I ran into an old friend of mine who took the other course and he said I should definitely take the new one.

I tried a different form of schooling earlier this year but was unable to follow through due to my mental state at the time. But I'm stronger now thanks to God and his love, and I'm thinking I'll be able to handle it next year. Time will tell of course.

But I'm excited about it, which is a good sign to me that I should follow through with it. I'm good with computers, and always had an interest in coding, since I was a young teen (I used to write little DOS batch scripts to those who know what those are haha, and used to use packet sniffers to script games).

I've been thinking about going back to school lately. I'm still not sure what I want to do, but growing up in a "medical" household (both of my parents were in the medical field), I've thought about possibly being a nurse. I'm good with all that stuff and I definitely have the temperament and work ethic and when I think about it, it just seems so right.

I'm praying about it and seeing where God leads me.

Yeah, we kinda learned that lesson with the Civil War. Lol

Well, a lot of the reasons for the civil war were valid as Im sure you know already.

Because they are childish and ignorant of what it is they ask.

They are of the thinking that "everything stays the same" but they don't have to accept Trump as their Pres.

I honestly would LAUGH if they do separate (I doubt it as I said) Who would be California's first President? Hilary?

Trump nor Hilary are fit to lead a nation thats already in motion ..... certainly neither is competent enough to BUILD a nation.

As I said, my problem is they (protestors) had no problem with the system that elected Obama. Would have no problem with the system IF it had elected Hilary... so by their standards "the system is fine".

However because the system they accept doesnt pick who they want..... WAAAAAAAAAAH!

I say let them have their little hissy fit.

I dont like Trump either, but lets face it. Hilary is FAR from a prize herself.

They can whine and rant about it as much as they want, but at the end of the day, they legalized a little something something for recreational use. They may want to but I don't see secession happening when their biggest hurdle is how many trips to the fridge they can make before they have to get out and go shopping for groceries.

Awe man, you have fatal nosebleeds too?! I USED to have like..an hour-long nosebleed that had the velocity of Niagara falls. It was pretty intense. Is it the airplane ride/air pressure that gives you the nose bleeds or the heat of Japan?
