OMM: Okay, now that the election is over.... have "we the people" finally woken up to the broken system? Can we PLEASE spend the next 4 years fixing the system rather than playing the same childish and stupid "its their fault" game that led us to a Trump Clinton election in the first place?

It all feels a bit too........ duck season, rabbit season if you ask me. Its childish, its stupid and it solves NOTHING allowing for jokes like Trump and Clinton to have a chance in the first place.

Its allowing such a broken system to exist that leads to having poor choices so as a whole...... we deserve everything that we get cause "we the people" don't vote in the best and the brightest..... no.... we vote for "Not them" and thats good enough for us..... oh no please dont offer us two valid choices...... anything but that.

I totally agree. Saw the politics show late in my years, but I did put two and two together and figured nobody cares to fix anything. Just put on the Blame Game! Just like it was in high school, as is for the rest of everyone's life... But we have a choice to not them them influence us.
God is our sole influence.

I just want people to wake up and DEMAND that valid choices are offered up.

If Trump and Hilary are TRULY the best options they have to offer.... then the 2 party system needs to just go away.

Instead of elections being like watching a Jerry Springer episode.... it should be about issues. Not simply months and months of smear campaigns.

You know........ select our leaders like adults rather than like school children.

We are picking the next leader of our nation with VERY real consequences...... not class president.

I'm so glad this election is over with. I hope everything gets back to normal and that everyone stays safe regardless of their political affiliation.

I only want the best for our country and our people. If we can just come together and work as a nation and not be divided, we have so many things to look forward to in our future and we can accomplish so much.

I pray God blesses all of us and keeps us in His loving hands.

Proof that this "Tolerance" stuff is always talked about from those that are always wanting others to accept it when they get their way............ yet don't practice any themselves when they dont get what they want..

I've found some of the most "We should tolerate and be good to all" people that yell "TOLERANCE!!" are some of the least tolerant people in the world.

Such as people screaming rights for something......... oh sure.... they scream for noble causes, but have no problem stamping out the rights of others to see that they get what THEY want..... then its okay.

Humanity in a whole...... seriously..... humanity itself at this point is one non stop face palm.

Unfortunately, you are all completely stuffed. Trump's a good talker, but he won't have (can't have) the experience, the credentials or the mentality of someone who's in a position to run a country.

I'm talking as someone who deals in simple common sense - I honestly have nothing against the guy, but it's like gathering up a butcher, a baker and a candle stick maker, and asking them to craft an exact replica of the Venus de Milo. It's simply not going to happen. It can't.

I HOPE I'm wrong, and I would love to see him pull it out of the bag and hit a six, but, let's face it. Winston Churchill he is NOT.

No need to tell me. As I said the whole "illusion of choice" we like to call an election is all a joke. Clinton and Trump are both tied for worst case scenario.

Honestly I leaned Trump because I already know Hilary is 100% evil. Trump is 99.99999999% evil. So there is a chance that he MIGHT do something accidentally that helps this country.... but Im not holding my breath.

Hilary didn't even have enough respect for her supporters.... what makes ANYONE believe that she has ANY level of respect for this country is beyond me.

I just pray that this election wakes people up to how much of a joke the state of the system is. The 2 party system needs to go away.

I think as long as he surrounds himself with good advisors and actually listens to them, then he should do well.

I do have some reservations about his ability to control his temper and I think he can be quite impulsive, but a president's advisors are supposed to help rein them in so they don't make any irrational decisions.

It's too early to say how things will go. Why can't we just wait it out and see before we jump to conclusions? (<--------- This is not to anyone in particular.)
