I had a spectacular weekend until it literally got crashed into. A Lyft driver jerked into the lane and sideswiped the car. Hard. I'm sore. I am replaying it all in my mind in a loop and cannot fall asleep even though my eyes feel like heavy curtains closing. I was more stunned when the driver flipped the blame around and was belligerent and deliberately trying to intimidate. Fortunately his passengers were absolute gems. They gave comfort and support, and since they had no loyalty to him are neutral witnesses that he was at fault. Thank God for them!
