  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Are there credible witnesses to the resurrection?

I'll think about it.

This is really good question.
The honest answer is this: I have no idea. I can not know who testifies to others, and I don't know if they are honest with others and with themselves.
Ah, so you see that the Holy Ghost testifies to both the resurrection and Mormonism. And if some here think the Holy Ghost testifies to resurrection but not Mormonism, then you don't know who it is that testifies to them?

This is the problem with relying on the Holy Ghost as your source of truth. Nobody can seem to agree on what the Holy Ghost is saying.

So, if the Holy Ghost personally do not testify to you about resurrection of Christ you can not be convinced that it is the truth.
Sure I could. But I would need convincing evidence. Are there any credible witnesses to the resurrection?

It doesn't matter what someone tells you. My point is this: if anybody tells you something about Christ and you want to know if this is the truth there is only one way to be convinced - you have to have the Holy Ghost to testify to you personally. Until then you may not be convinced at all.

This is the problem with relying on the Holy Ghost as your source of truth. Nobody can seem to agree on what the Holy Ghost is saying.
It is not the Holy Ghost's job to make sure that all agree on what He says. His mission is to testify to YOU personally so YOU can know the truth for yourself.

Sure I could. But I would need convincing evidence. Are there any credible witnesses to the resurrection?
What kind of evidence would satisfy you?

It does matter. And your being elusive is not helping
1. why does it matter?
2. I will repeat, I don't know specific place. I don't know this kind of revelation from God.

Let me be clear. Whose SPIRIT was in JESUS ? Whose SPIRIT was in JESUS' pre and post crucified body. And whose SPIRIT is in JESUS ascended body?

Yes it does mean they "are one". Unless there are two HOLY SPIRITS in Heaven

But there isn't

His (Jesus's) spirit. Jesus is spirit in physical body. You are spirit in physical body.
Every mortal man and every resurrected man is spirit in physical body.
The Holy Ghost does not have physical body. At least not yet.

my husband and I are one. what do I mean?
You're not GOD and neither is your husband
I don't have access through you or your husband to GOD by ONE SPIRIT

Nor could you or your husband claim that you and GOD are ONE and that anyone who has seen you or your husband has seen GOD

of course not. But when I say that we are one what do I mean? do you know?
I don't care what you mean personally. I was discussing the TRUTH of GOD and what THE SON who came forth from THE FATHER has said and what is meant by what HE said

It is ok. But my point that you have no idea what I mean when I say this. Tell me: what does Christ mean when He says that Father and Him are one?
I was discussing the TRUTH of GOD and what THE SON who came forth from THE FATHER has said and what is meant by what HE said
so, again, what does it mean ACCORDING to Christ?

Again. The question was asked of you first and foremost

I am not the one who brought something personal into it so as to avoid the question by giving me some unnecessary information bout yourself and your husband

You can't or you won't answer the question which is telling in and of itself
