• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is not Voting a sin even if there are not Good Candidates?

Let's recap for you--illegally kept a separate email server in her own home

It is not illegal to have an email server in your home.

, lied about it

Where did she lie about having a email server in her home?

,
destroyed evidence

What she destroyed was not evidence but her personal emails. And they weren't permanently destroyed in any case. The FBI was able to retrieve them. Out of the 30K of emails a handful were turned out now to be personal. You try deleting 30K worth of emails and not accidentally delete something you don't mean to.

took bribes in exchange for helping to send uranium to Russia

A contribution to the Clinton Foundation, which unlike the Trump Foundation is a genuine charity is not a bribe. What is a bribe is the Trump Foundation paying 25K so an attorney general won't prosecute Trump University.

, lied to the families of consular staff in Libya about a "video" having cost their loved ones their lives

Whatever she initially said to the families, she believed. What she may have said subsequently is she said/she said. What we do know is that the mother who accused her of lying and the RNC was using a script written by someone else. When your testimony is true you don't need a script.

, r
efused to turn over subpoenaed evidence, lied about it
,

Too vague.

made racist, sexist, and anti-Semitic remarks in the presence of her staff

Whereas Trump says that kind of thing as part of his campaign speeches.

, threatened the women victimized by her husband...

She believed her husband. What a crime. Somehow comparable to a man who like Trump who brags about victimizing women.

...do we need to go much further before deciding that, yes, it's relatively easy to find someone "less righteous" than "a guy who?"

With Trump we could do a lot further.

In the usa I guess you mean, right?
It hasn't made any [good] difference in over 100 years, so why vote ?
Anywhere you can vote you should.

It has made plenty difference here. Our country could have gone in radically different directions if we had different leaders in different positions.

Really.
It's gone from bad, to worse, to very bad, to worse again.

Franklin Graham, during his Decision America Tour 2016, has repeatedly said, “I want to challenge Christians to boldly live out their faith and to pray for our nation and its leaders. I want to encourage Christians to get out and vote, and to cast their ballots for candidates who uphold biblical principles.”
If Biblical values is the criteria then Franklin should realize there is no one to vote for.

Many things have gotten better. We have our challenges, but there were many awful things going on in the past. People often have rose colored lenses they look at the past through. The world was a much more terrible place in the past.

No. If Biblical values is the criteria, he wouldn't have done what he did for many years. (can't bring it up on this forum; do simple internet search to find out)
But, yes, similarly, there is no one to vote for for ecclesia; it's a whole different system than the BIBLE describes for us/them[Believers].

Do you really believe that God wants to give your vote to the ungoldy - those in open rebellion against Him?

do you think that by not voting, a second most liberal and thus most wicked person in the history will be elected?

you can't get out of voting.

it's not an option,

so either fix trump , or fix hillary in your mind.

one of the them will be president,

probably hillary at this point.

Neither of them deserve the support of Christians.

Vote for neither - our job is to evangelise the world, not lend our support to the vile and vulgar.

Really? And who is less righteous than a guy who goes around bragging about assaulting women and trying to jump into bed with married women when he himself has been married only a few months?

no assaults by trump, that is a red herring.

verbal annotations were given. And innappropriate ones.

but hillary has broken dozens of federal laws and swept it under the carpet.

it's actually eery how silent everyone is on Hillaries past.

it's truly sad.

and the fact they are focusing on little off the record jokes etc, that trump has said, again while off the record.

who cares.

someone coming from a non politcal office to a political one this will be the case.

but what disturbs me more is where they got the info.

and what money they used to get the info, and if it was legal.

christians are required to vote, the choice is yours.

but remember every vote that is not for trump will go to hillary.

because hillary has not lessened in support, only strengthened.

but what we can do is steal hillaries votes.

and that is what needs to happen, so I reposted a thread called hillary the career criminal to get some more of this info out.

the media wont do it.

and america has news as their digital God will not do their own research, and need to be spoon fed it by the media...

is sad.

so check out that forum as well.

Y'SHUA and YHWH'S WORD never indicated any support for staying in the enemy's politic. Y'SHUA came and said "turn to YHWH'S KINGDOM - seek YHWH" and
"MY KINGDOM is not of this world"
so why would [Christians] following Y'SHUA do what HE did not do nor endorse ?

With all the GOP significant members going on public record withdrawing their endorsements from Trump--but with Christian significant members holding fast--it looks like Trump is not the so much the Republican candidate as the Christian candidate.

That means if Trump does win, those Christians will have tied the Church to everything he does in office...or even out of office, since they have made the claim that Trumps values are Christian values.

I hope you feel the same way about whatever Assange has on Clinton.
