TMI (too much information) and kind of rude to be posting on a person's post who has admitted to having a hard time enjoying much of any kind of sexual/intimate touch.

I believe his comments were in the context of a non-sexual massage. I also have no problem with others enjoying sex. I wish I did! It's normal although this forum is not the place to get into details about our sex lives but again I think he was talking about regular massage.

for starters, there isn't hatred but rather frustration. I have no issues being friends as I have several female friends including one that's a very close friend. It is unfortunate I can't be more than friends with anyone and most know my condition which is why they don't consider me. :( It's hard to press someone into something they just aren't into. I am not into ice cream and even when someone offers it to me, I eat to comply without being ungrateful but I don't enjoy it. Sex and ice cream are the same for me. It comes to mind, I pass it in the store as I pass women, think about it and keep on walking without buying a tub of it or whatever, go home and no regrets. Doesn't interest me. I don't find it appealing. Add the fact that I hate disgusting things like body fluids, sweat and being medically diagnosed with OCD, throw on being incompetent 90% of the time from my MS and it would be a nightmare all on top of not wanting it. I've never had broccoli but I don't like it. I know I won't like it. Some people just weren't meant for certain things and it kinda sucks.. Granted I am about to be 27 but living alone for the past almost 9 years hasn't been the greatest but at the same time, it sometimes is. No roommates or anything. Makes finances harder with no one to split anything with too being young. It's hard to explain and when I do, they back off like I'm someone to be avoided or have no use for. :( I keep close to my female friend but she's about the only one.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. You have a lot going on.

Those of us who are asexual have to accept we are not the norm and most people want that in a relationship to one degree or another. Our asexuality is going to prevent a lot of relationships from developing. That just goes with the territory. For people who aren't asexual they need that contact and need to feel wanted and desired. We can do our best to make it meaningful for them but ultimately they can tell we are just not into it like they are. It's hard to fake a lack of enthusiasm. You are far less likely to initiate since you aren't feeling the desire and if you are a guy then many women still want the man to initiate at least some of the time. They want to feel desired. Us guys like to feel desired as well.

It is what it is...

If you get non-sexual massage in a massage parlor, as he has made frequently clear is where he gets his massages. The "deep breathing" part is the part I believe took it over the edge for me making it TMI.

^ to a certain degree on my end, I feel at a slight advantage in terms of not getting into trouble. Heck! The one thing that screws more relationships over more than anything else is sex and I don't want or need it. There is a positive to it. I can see people for who they are and not what they can offer me. Sadly, they cannot do the same on their part (at least that's been my experience). People like us have to fight a lot harder. I do have physical urges but they are not geared towards anything. I had a small erection just driving down the road drinking water yesterday listening to jazz. Kinda weird but they happen.

Ok I missed the part about massage parlors... I get a monthly massage but it's at a reputable business with licensed massage therapists and nothing funny going on behind closed doors. You see men and women there. Moms, Dads, young, old, etc.

I have no issues with licensed massage therapy. I have a friend who is one but I can guarantee that if a patient started "deep breathing" while she was giving a massage, she would stop and never accept that client again.

Knowledge is power! I was just introducing him to an alternative. I thought maybe, just maybe, that he would be willing to try something new. By the way,Sir Robbins liked this. Day Hiker mentioned massages. Why did you not attack them? Women like you are one of the reasons, that I have hypertension. But, I will just not allow you to rise my blood pressure.

I have monthly massages for my MS. Target areas are my arms and legs... I like my feet being done too. I've got orthotics for them after bad shin splints so my legs and feet love the attention! Physical touch does nothing to me in a sensual way or dirtier though. Just relaxing to have muscles relieved

Do you go to a licensed massage therapist who actually is targeting your actual problems or a massage parlor for "sensual" massage like Exit does?

licensed. It's under my insurance as a once a month requirement on treatment. Sadly, it helps for like 2 days then the pain comes back and starts all over. It's nice for the 2 days though

I go for targeted work. I get a lot of tension in my back so they usually end up spending half the time on my back. I like *really* deep tissue work. It can be slightly painful during and after but really helps break up the knots. I have no desire for a "feel good" massage. I want something that is going to help me with my muscular tightness. I workout a lot plus have some old injuries so it helps. If I go once a month I've found it helps me stay looser and they have less intense work to do each time than if I went only when it got to hurting. Preventative maintenance.

There is nothing sensual about it. I probably would fall asleep were it not for the deep tissue work. That elbow grinding into that knot in your back tends to wake you up!

I doubt that 'women like me' cause your hypertension. I thought you were a scientist and if you doubt this, ask your doctor.

Massage parlors are part of sex trades and not exactly Christian. Licensed massage therapists are medical and legitimate health professions. The difference should always be clarified no different than a illegal drug pusher and a pharmacist. Many people do not know that there is a difference.

I was talking about a massage that was done during a puja. All of us were fully clothed. There was no sexual touching of any kind. One of the rules was to ask permission before touching anyone. My forearm was being massaged. It felt good. When the instructor told us to breathe very deeply, the pleasurable sensation was magnified. During this same party,I just rubbed a lady's leg. She actually jumped up a couple of inches off of the floor! Some of the women, and men there told me that I give off a lot of energy. I am not bragging but, women do enjoy my touch. My problem is that most women will not give me a chance. But,I only need one woman to please.

Hypertension can raise when one has a high sodium intake. Stress, stress, and more stress can and will cause someone's blood pressure to rise. There have been studies, when one's supervisor walks into a room, that employee's blood pressure rises. Or,when an employee is talking to one's boss, that employee's blood pressure rises.
I am very sure, that as a nurse, some doctor has gotten on your nerves. And,your blood pressure has risen.
So,when a woman gets on my freaking nerves, you can bet your bottom dollar, that my systolic pressure will go up at least more than 130 mm Hg. And, my diastolic pressure would be over 90 mm Hg. The reading of 130/90 mm Hg, is considered hypertension.(High Blood Pressure).

Temporary high blood pressure is not called "hypertension". That is why three reading over 3 months are required to get than diagnosis. Most people have "essential hypertension" which means there isn't really a known cause. If there is a known cause, that is called secondary hypertension and we treat the cause, not the blood pressure. With essential hypertension there are lifestyle changes that can help control it....managing salt intake, getting to an ideal weight, and minimizing stress. We would also teach you how to cope better with the stressors in your life...not tell you to avoid women. And actually 130 for your systolic reading isn't considered hypertension. If it was your normal reading, then that would be prehypertensive. The diastolic number is kind of iffy but I bet that wouldn't get you labeled anything above prehypertensive with that systolic number. And if your reading was 130/90 while talking to a woman that was annoying you, I'd probably suggest that you go take a walk and come back when you had calmed down... (and guess what, you are the only one in control of "your freaking nerves")

I have had,and have been taking medicine for hypertension since 1984.
When I was first diagnosed with hypertension,my readings were 151/100.
When I visited the tropical island of Moorea,by Tahiti,my bp was 90/60.
One time,on a cruise,my bp was 110/70. Therefore, cruising is good for my health.

By the way,if you doubt my scientific credentials, please do not take my word for it,since you do not believe anything I tell you. Why don't you just "google" "Clinical Laboratory Scientist". I do not have to google your title.Because, everybody knows what an RN does. If I did not know what I am doing,I would not get paid $49.49 per hour, which comes out to $102,939.00 per year. :) :) :)
Yes,I have walked away from an abusive women.Because,I would never hit a woman. But,I do feel sometimes, what Cain must have felt toward his brother. Therefore,I can control my anger.

God has given you TWO women to please and you divorce them both...both over money.

I made two bad choices. :( They were the wrong type of women. Women only want me for my money. God did not give me those women. Because,GOD does not make mistakes.

Also,I did not know about Red Tantra when I was married,to either one.
