Yes, I did. In post 29. And in post 22.... "The first beast has a dual meaning"
first of all you have to explain:
the seven years -
why chapter 13 is the last half
why chapter 12 is the full seven years
why chapter 17 happens in the first century

As shown throughout history,
constantine and those with him were a much much bigger and ongoing through today threat and caused more damage to Christianity than communism and islam together ever were or did(so far).
what history book told you that?

There is a progression defined by the crowns/no crowns, to know that Chapter 13 is the second half of the seven years.

Chapter 13
- the only timeframe given in Chapter 13 is 42 months.

Chapter 12 - the first half of the 7 years is the 1260 days of Revelation 12:6; then the war in the second heaven; then the time, times, and half times Satan is cast down in Revelation 12:14, the second half.

12:6 + 12:14 is the 7 years.

Chapter 17 - the sixth king "is" at the time of John. John lived 1st century. Those things that are in the future, are said to be in the future.

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

do you agree that the ten horns are the second beast?
do you agree that the seven heads are the first beast?

My comments

Constantine was a fraud .... he had no vision as he claimed .... he was not a a biblical prophet

His motive was to make Christianity the religion of His political empire in order to gain a following of the masses .... nothing more

.... and his side kick Eusebius was a false prophet and false teacher

You will not find this individual in any prophetic vision .... his existence was during the period of prophetic silence .... the dispensation of the Lord's grace still on going as we speak

The unfulfilled portion of prophecy is still out in front of us .... nothing is recorded in the scope of the prophetic scriptures between the ending of the 69 weeks of years decreed upon Israel and the beginning of the 70th week of the 70 weeks of years decreed .... if you do not understand this truth you will be confused by all of the various attempts to insert events of history in to the breaching which are not there

On the subject of Satan's first beast of Revelation, this entity must be discovered and defined before any other related scriptures can be rendered correctly

victorinus,

Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

There are no crowns on the ten horns.
There are seven crowns upon the heads

What is the seven crowns upon the heads telling you?

________________________________________________

And when you read chapter 12, make a mental note, as the heading of that chapter

THIS CHAPTER IS ABOUT THE FULL SEVEN YEARS
the first five verses are a historic preamble to identify the woman as Israel.

What does the text say? Both the seven heads and the ten horns are on the first beast.

1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

chapter 17 clearly shows the ten horns on the second beast

That these 7 kingdoms belong to the beast .... he is the angelic king of the abyss doing Satan's bidding on the earth
I have already named the two beasts -
the roman empire and islam -
now it is your turn

you think constantine is the worst thing that happened to christianity -
what is that based on?

A tree is known by it's fruit. All he did was make Christianity popular and less ostracized by paganizing it. It's kind of like what Kenneth Copeland and Creflo Dollar have done with their brand of "Christianity": change it into something more palatable to the masses and watch the money come rolling in.
