There are countries that do not use any fossil fuel. They produce all of their fuel from plants. So they run their vehicles on ethyl alcohol. You need light from the sun and the elements from the earth. Fossil fuel is saved energy. In the process of burning the fossil fuel we produce CO2 and the earth becomes warmer and the climate changes and some species start to die off and others prosper. The reason we use this fuel is because it is fairly safe to use. Hydrogen would be better but they are worried about Hydrogen being so explosive. Also it takes energy to extract the Hydrogen from the Water. Fossil fuel just needs refined so it's very cost effective.

You STILL have not answered my question: why did God go to the trouble of 'making dinosaurs' to eventually make oil when he could have just made oil first?

There would be no oil if God had not created the dinosaur that we now get our oil from. There would be no outer space or Universe to explore if God had not created the universe. God is life and health and healing. Without God there is only death and destruction. Why do you find more comfort in living in a world where there is no God?

From a Christian perspective this is the result of the world being in a fallen condition. This is why we need redeemed and restored. The Government put me though two months of basic training so that I could learn how to fight and defend myself. If someone came at me with a knife or stick I would most likely take it away from them because that is what I was trained to do. They say this is human nature. But during the 1,000 year reign of Christ there will be no more war and people will not study war anymore. As Christians this is what we look forward to. Someday the school children will look back on the conversation that you and I are having and be amazed that the world we lived in was so filled with violence when their world is so calm and peaceful.

I am told that Oil does not come from dinosaurs. This was a claim that an oil company made that turned out not to be true. That is why I was using this as an example of what Science does not get right.

Nothing could be further from the truth. You could study the Bible all day, ever day for the rest of your life and in the end you would still only be just getting started. The God that gives us the Bible is the same God that gives us Science and the more we learn about Science the better we are going to understand the Bible. There does not seem to be any plan or purpose though. Back during WW2 they wanted to conquer the world. Then they wanted to fix the damage and rebuild the world. Today I am not quite sure what people are doing. There is a lot of destruction in very ancient places that have survived up till now for tens of thousands of years.

Is that the reason there are 30,000 odd varieties of Christians, it's a message so important no one can decide what it means.
Looks like god failed once again, Christians are casting a slur on their God by saying he wrote the Bible, far better for them to say that man made mistakes when they didn't write down the words they were told to write.
