Swing and a miss, nice try though. The Bible is of "no private interpretation", "No prophecy was ever brought about through human initiative, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit." 2 Pet 2:1 This is why we have a Bible Canon and why we have a statement of faith.

It turns out that your personal interpretation is hugely different to the AIG's that I posted. Who's right, you or AIG? You're both working from the same 31 sentences yet one of you interprets the Earth as billions of years old (I apologise if you don't) whereas the other interprets it as 6000 years.

It seems that those 31 sentences say just what you want them to say, for anything pertaining to science or the natural world they are useless, I'll take the 200 000 books thanks.

One of the best examples of this technique I have seen came not from a politician or a creationist, but from an accountant. The Financial Controller, in a management meeting, responding to another attendee said, "Ah! Now that's not the question you have asked." He then proceeded to answer a completely different one, without a hint of embarrassment.

Show me anywhere that those 200,000 books contradict or falsify the Bible in anyway. I maintain that God gives us Science and God gives us the Bible and God does not contradict Himself. In fact all 200,000 of the books shows that those 31 sentences are 100% accurate and true (along with all of the Bible).

Why don't you stop trying to prove that the Bible is real? If you believe it good for you but many of your OPs are what is known as a 'reassurance topic'.

Why not just worship God in your own way and not worry about what other people think? You're not going to change the world with a few OPs on random website.

I am not trying to prove the Bible. God stands behind the Bible. I am trying to determine if Science is real or not. Far to often Science looks like the product of someones imagination.

I do not care what people think, I care about the influence and effect they have on others.

There would be no oil if God had not created the dinosaur that we now get our oil from. There would be no outer space or Universe to explore if God had not created the universe. God is life and health and healing. Without God there is only death and destruction. Why do you find more comfort in living in a world where there is no God?

People here motivate me to read and study and confirm what I believe is accurate and true. We all need to continue to learn and grow and expand our understanding. People learn better together, that is why we have schools.
