I don't know how life originated.

I do know, with an extremely high level of confidence, how life evolved though.

And when it comes to "Gaps" you have faith that in time science will fill that "gap" and you have faith that God is not responsible for that "gap".

I trust science will continue to make discoveries supported with mountains of evidence, as science has for centuries.

Will science ever demonstrate a God exists or doesn't exist? I have no idea.

Actually, true and honest science does not "dismiss" God. True and honest science admits that God, if He exists, is beyond the reach and study of science. Science can neither prove nor disprove God. So, I don't know what reasoning you're using to dismiss God, but it's not science.

It is logical to assume that if God did not create life from inorganic matter, life must have been created by nature by natural means...is that correct? What other possibility could there be? The statement you made "I don't know how life originated" is in itself an attempt to deflect the question. Because if you know God does not exist then it doesn't matter if you know how life originated. Because regardless on the exact reason, life must have originated from inorganic matter?
