We'd be banned if we said anything like that about the leadership of a mainline Christian denomination.

I guess that is your opinion, but I only said their were probably business reasons. I'm sure they haven't amassed all that wealth to loose it.

Again - we'd be banned for making the same allegations against the leaders of any mainline Christian group.

So why do you feel the need to make such statements about our leaders?

Bloomberg Business Week's 2015 rankings of top business schools.

Full-Time Business School, US:
BYU's Marriott School of Business comes in at #27, with a ranking index score of 74.17 / 100.

So there's that one.

I'm bumping this back up so it doesn't get forgotten.

One of the best, most reputable business magazines in the United States said that BYU is home to one of the top business schools in the nation.

How does everyone here feel about that?

I'm sorry you feel that way, but it is not the insult that you seem to think it is. So all I can do is re-iterate the point and let it go.

#27 is now considered a "top" school? LOL. On the link you provided, you have to click "show me more" to even get there. If one is in the "show me more" category, it is not a "top" school. Even more LOL...
Plus. No one that wanted to go to a top school would fight through all the crazy to go there. Why?

Just because something is "only" #27 doesn't mean it's not a big deal.

And when it comes to academic rankings of this nature (best _____ school), #27 is actually a big deal considering the fact that it was up against Ivy League schools and a number of other, more "prestigious" institutions.

It's not a top school overall. It has one program that seems to be a little better than average. That does not make it a top ranking school

It does, however, establish that there's a good reason why people would want to be there.

That being said, ...

Top ranked degree program #2: Animation

Animation Career Review lists BYU's animation degree program is #7 compared to all animation schools in the Western US, beating even schools in California. In contrast ,Learn.org ranks it as #3 nationally. Game Designing.org puts it at #9, and Independent Magazine puts it in their top 10 most innovative schools.

So that's four top 10 lists the program is on.

So I see that people would rather squabble over details than admit that BYU is competitive against even Ivy League schools.
It's not though. No one wants to go there. That's where Mormon parents send their kids to get a Mormon education. It is not a top school.

They are one off websites. Get some big study. I'll give you Bloomberg, but that's Full-Time for an MBA ranked #27. Not a Bachelors, nor Phd.
