CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yahweh is the God of love, and is holy, righteous and just, though long patient for those who will come to God according to the provision for that. Allah of Muslims and the Qur'an isn't all those things.

The fruits of the Spirit determines who the true God is. We are a reflection of our Father who works in us. Islam has different fruits and one of those fruits is fear. We know that God is love and so the contrast between the God of Christianity and Islam is love versus fear, therefore totally different Spirit. We are told to test the Spirit and to see if it is from God.
In every muslim, there is an ingrained fear amongst their culture and towards their god. With Christianity there is ingrained love. The western countries founded on Christian principals have progressed much, because with love, growth and development flourishes, yet with fear all thoughts of growth and development are hindered. Have a look at the story of a young girl, who wanted to be killed by the taliban religious leaders, after she said that girls need to go to school to progress in life.
Most education system in Islam was driven by the imams and today due to pressures from the western countries we see women being included as equal opposites, with the opportunity to grow and develop in education.

If an muslim is a doctor, a scientist, a professor, then they can thank Jesus Christ for giving them this opportunity, as he has conquered their culture to go the way of the west. Islam is inapt on its own, to grown and develop from the sword wielding men in dresses. It needed the west and to adapt Christian values in order to survive. So Islam has mutated into something else. The only hypocritical thing is that they don't confess Jesus with their tongues. Don't get me wrong but many ex muslims have confessed Jesus as their Lord and saviour and have been adopted.

They are God's chosen and the believe in the Messiah..
The muslims' God is depicted in the pages of the Koran.
Read it, and then let us know if that's a description of Jehovah.

And the Sikh also have a holy book that describes God, it's called the Guru Granth Sahib.
They just think different things about him than we do.
What about Buddha? Is that really just another name for our Jehovah?
Can we really call Him whatever we want to and give Him the attributes we see fit?
Not Jehovah, My God is a Jealous God and His Name is Jealous
He will have NO other gods before Him.

There is only one God. Some religions describe Him less accurately than others. He reveals Himself to us most perfectly in Jesus Christ. Many seek to link Him to their own evil ways and will have to face His judgement for doing that.
