CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You know who else didn't score? Cam Newton. Juss' sayin', the defense was on point yesterday; by the numbers Newton performed worse than Manning. True story.Because your Broncos won and you're still as happy as you were yesterday.
I still feel the same about Manning though cause he couldn't score, but he was on the winning team so I cant say what I always said.

Before the game, they had Michael Jordan on to tell everyone how Newton was destined to be the greatest. While no one is saying he already is- like LeBron James- they're telling us he will be and that we're all witnesses. He won MVP this year.Were any of those the right one?

Well Michael Jordan knows basket ball, not football. Same with Lebron.... so what they say is not valid (Not that the talking heads opinion is so much more valid really, but at least ex players/coaches of football have an illusion of authority.) . Its just two famous people giving their opinion and the man is probably their friend.... so meh.
My point isn't about what Cam Newton does.... even going with MJ and Lebron statements THEIR admition is that he isn't YET, but the cultist of Manningites claim he already is. Cam can still grow into the MJ and LeBron prophacy, I will argue against his prophacy when people claim he IS, not "will be" just as I fight against the Manningites.
But if PM IS the GOAT he should have been able to score.... at least once.
