But you're using ad hoc logic to say that Paul is talking about taxonomists calling Humans 'homo sapiens'. That's not what he's talking about at all. He's talking about people who claim that they knew more than God knew (or knows rather. No, knew?).
You're just putting the claim that 'professing themselves to be wise' refers to Homo sapiens.
